I just beat Peace Keepers AND the JP version, not knowing it was already claimed. Didn't do this on purpose as I checked the topic only after I played PK. But, wanted to share it here regardless. Not a bad game, although I still prefer Brawl Brothers slightly over it. The 4P mode in PK is pretty cool for a beat 'em up, though!

Super Bomberman 2 complete.

Freaking level 5-3 and 5-7 took me the absolute longest to beat. Stupid invisible mines and stupid one eyed brain...

Well, it's been a while since I've even looked at this list, and I've beaten a handful of SNES games... Let's see which ones I beat that haven't been marked off...

Zool (I actually beat it on the Genesis, too. Not much of a difference between the two).
Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts
Super Bomberman 2 (I didn't know it was being worked on by another member).
Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday
The Lion King
7the Saga (Huge grindfest).

UGH!  I spent my whole saturday playing this game!!  I demand compensation!

Oh well...I'll just find another one to beat...

After playing it on and off for weeks on my emulator and practicing on my Neo Geo, I beat Bust a Move for SNES today. The nerve of them saying at the end to try beating 100 levels with less credits.

I beat True Lies this weekend. It ends with a 16-bit screen shot of the tango dip at the end of the movie. Tough game, had a good time.

I just beat Mystic Quest before I discovered this thread. But I guess I'll take on Home Alone (lol) It's a dirt job but someone's gotta do it.

I played through Sparkster on SNES. Technically, I got the Japanese Super Famicom cartridge. Don't worry, guys. I'll go ahead, and play through Tiny Toon Adventures Wacky Sports Challenge.

Played through and beat Super Widget today. This was my first time ever to play it, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it! I also beat Wild Guns last week with my friend, but I believe that it's already marked off.

Beat Rise of the Robots today because Backloggery told me to... Didn't even know about this thread. I'll try to beat it again and take a picture.

I haven't played anything on the SNES for a LONG time now, but I figured I'd bump the thread to give it a bit more love. There's still some easy ones on the list. Also, to the OP - don't get discouraged about the lack of progress to the goal. The NES list took 3 years to get within striking range of completion. I don't see 500 games being finished in the next couple weeks, but it'd be cool to see how far the thread actually gets

-------------------------

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."
