Luke, your score is fine as it is.  The rule for when to take your picture if you beat the game was changed after you had completed the game, so your score still stands.

UPDATED again: Fighting Mr. Big (Inner Sanctum) - 113,150

Had a tough time getting into this game after having so much fun with 'Toads last week, but it's actually pretty good. Unfortunately I ran out of missiles trying to fight Mecha-Big. I'm sure I can beat the game - it's just a matter of being able to lower my score by surviving. I've been busting enemies in early levels just to get extra lives...

UPDATE: Goddamn Mr. Big. It's so tedious to land missile hits on him.

LAST UPDATE: Got to have a round at work and did really good...but couldn't kill the skully bastard. Fucking up that run/people demanding my time bascially robbed me of a potential win, so I am pretty pissed all in all. Fun game though!

Okay, now hold on a second here.  Even if you bust no one and collect nothing but bullets, the game still gives you a base score of like 5,000 per stage automatically, so how within 8 stages were you able to get less than 40,000?

Got to whatever level this is, what is this 5, 4, 6?  I got sick of trying to find the silver card, if you get lucky you get it quickly and when I tried earlier in the week it raised my points too high.  Got lucky this run and only downed 5 hypomen to get the blue card.  Not bad I guess, but I would have preferred beating the game and maxing out points, damn it...

Stan, there is no base score for any level completion (except maybe the last, I don't know because I didn't pass it). At the end of each level you receive points for picking up money and drugs, and for busting people, none of which you have to do. The only times in the game where you are required to collect points is to get the blue/green/gold safe cards, and also killing Mr. Bigs head. If you get lucky enough with the safe card drops you can really get by on very low points.

Yeah, I got lucky and was able to get the safe immediately. If you get to the end fast, the chances of the card dropping early, like Krunch said. It wasn't til Mr. BIG where it took a while to kill and get the safe card. You can blow through the first levels with a very low score by not killing anyone and just dodging bullets.

Not true on the first part, for my score I didn't pick up anything other than bullets and made NO busts, it always gives you one stack of money, one drug, and one bust, each time.

It's not giving you those. It's just showing you the catagory.

This is true.  If you don't pick any up, then the category is blank and you get 0 bonus points in that particular category.

Then how did I not pick up anything and get points for one cash, one drug, and one bust? I seriously didn't bust anyone. On the bridge this is especially obvious because it's easier to dodge.

Except that it gave me points after it.  Totes serious about this.  I would see cash, drug, bust x1 each time, and I wasn't getting any.
