And for those of you who are new to soldering:
The solder you buy usually has lead and the solder on nes's and carts definately has lead. Treat it carefully. Don't solder where your kids play!
The fumes aren't good for you either. Solder in a well ventilated area.
I used to solder in my home, but not anymore now that I have a kid. I go to my father-in-law's workshop/basement. I wash my hands very well when i'm done, and I solder on those big desk sized calendar's which makes it easier to clean up splatters (just throw away the top sheet).
