I was there for work last year and used the retro stores list on here to find just a few. One in Salt Lake and one a little further out in Provo. Neither was anything to write home about. OK selection but overpriced. I also hit a few Savers and didn't find squat So I was pretty disappointed in what I found.

on the corner of State Street and East 3300 South is probably the best SLC has to offer.

Mario's House of Video Games
inside the Provo shopping mall (30ish miles outside the city) is a little 500 square foot shop with a not-so-decent selection.

World's Game Store probably has the largest inventory, but they are insanely (crazy) overpriced. $20 for Atari joysticks, $100 for SNES consoles, $50 for Legend of Zelda, etc.

In my peripheral experience the Salt Lake area is heavy on collectors and a little low on inventory. Thrift stores there get picked apart really fast.

Game Changerz is the best experience and personnel, but they were low on good inventory last time I was there.
