Hi everyone!

I've been lurking these forums for quite some time now and finally decided it was time to join.

So, who am I? I'm a guy from Sweden who likes to collect and play most game-related things.
Basically I love all kinds of games, mostly video games and board games, but also casino style game machines (one-armed bandits),
pinball and arcade machines.

When it comes to videogames I never had a NES (or any nintendo console for that matter) growing up, but my aunt did. We
lived kind of far apart so it was a dream come true every time I got to visit her as a kid and play SMB3 and Duck Tales 2 on the NES.
I was very greedy as a kid, and didn't want to spend all my money on any of the major consoles, and instead bought myself a Game Boy Advance.
As time went by I came to appreciate my GBA more and more, and I was filled with joy when Super mario bros advance 4 (SMB3) was released
for it. Finally I could play my favourite game of all time, without having to own a NES!

Later in my life (read "now") I began collecting video games for most nintendo systems, but my passion for the GBA shines through,
as I currently own over 300 unique titles for it. Here is a picture of most of my PAL-games:

I hope I'll be meeting some new friendly faces to discuss games with, and possibly (when my economy allow me) get some NTSC GBA games.

Over and out!

Welcome, neighbor! Nice collection! Hey you could probably recommend some good GBA games that no-one has ever heard of, what's your top ten/twenty?

It's been a long time since I realized, I'm not building a great collection, but a great library.

Thank you all. And yeah, there are quite a few GBA games! But some day I will have them all .

Regarding hidden gems amongst the GBA, hm... not sure these will count as "hidden" gems but here are some that I really like:
Harvest moon: Friends of Mineral Town
Sonic Battle
Ninja Cop (Ninja Five-O)
Invader (Actually got it today, and I love the gameplay)
Steel empire (seems to be a fun one, but also seems really rare, I don't have it yet)
Car battler joe (another one that seems really fun and unique, but I have not been able to aquire)
Yggdra Union (Another game I would love to get my hands on that seems to have such nice gameplay)
Boulder Dash EX
Oh, and also the Summon Night: Swordcraft story games!

Got any you can recommend back?

I don't know if these are considered "hidden gems" but I had alot of fun with:

Scurge Hive, Drill Dozer, Klonoa (1 & 2), Sabre Wulf, Boktai, Juka and the Monophonic Menace & Kuru Kuru Kururin.

I have to say Steel Empire & Invader are my 2 favorite games to never see an American release.

Are you a particular fan of Shoot em up's then?
Yeah, have to get that Drill Dozer game too. It wasn't released in Europe I believe.
