$15 for all. So I was actually driving to a new Value Village, but I passed this little thrift shop in a strip mall on the way, so I went in. Small place but packed with stuff. I grabbed the PS2 game for $2, but they wouldn't do a transaction with a card for under $10, and I had no cash on me. I ran to the dollar store next door to see if they could do cashback, but the line was a mile long. The lady was about to finish her shift and I think close the store, so I was like, damnit, I just want that game for $2.
Well then I see this stack of consoles - a Dreamcast, a Gamecube, and what looks like a cable box. I asked to see the top two. The Gamecube was marked $36 (it came with Tony Hawk at least, lol), but DC had no label. I asked how much it might be and she just said "We can do $6." Cool. So after tax she'll let me ring up with a card now, but I kept looking at the cable box thing and finally asked her to see it right before she rung me up. Well, it's a 3-in-1 Famiclone that does NES, SNES, and Genesis. Also $6, since no tag. No cables, adapter, or controllers, but it takes a generic RCA cable and Genesis controllers. Don't know if either of them work, but I'm pretty pleased with it. First time I've seen anything retro in at least a year, and definitely the first time I've found a Famiclone in the wild.
