Does anyone actually watch the Hall of Fame game? I don't think I ever have. I might flip it on this year, although Bills v Giants is about as bad as it gets for a Pats fan.

It is close to Cleveland and one year I got free tickets. I thought about it but I still didn't go.

15?

I'm guessing 8.

It's one of the reason's (I think) Pre-Season games should be free.
They'd pack the Stadiums, make a killing on concessions and it'd be great PR.

I wonder if they'll play Cruz's Salsa Dance song over the PA there if he scores?

Totally agree Santa! I had the company sweet with an unlimited food and beverage allowance at a Seahawks preseason game a couple seasons ago and took abunch of clients. We all ended up leaving at half time as it just wasn't any fun.

What a lame ass start for the Pats in preseason. Although, I know it means nothing it is still fun to watch.

The second set starts in 7 hours.

On a fantasy note, am I the only one mock drafting? I've been doing it just about once a day for the past two weeks. I'm not glued to the screen, I do other things and leave it in the background. But, it has given me some interesting insight as to what other people are thinking.

Packers are on tonight. I think a couple key guys to watch for, if anyone other than me cares, is Chris Banjo and Sean Richardson.

Remember in preseason to keep your eyes on guys who the game is actually BIG for - those ones who are fighting for a spot on the 53 man roster. The first couple preseason games are all about evaluating talent.

Packers are tomorrow, right?  You got my hopes up for a minute .  I am a HUGE Packers fan (proud shareholder here) and am very excited for this season.  I am really looking forward to Clinton-Dix, we definitely need to tighten up that secondary.  I'm not familiar with those names you mention but I will keep an eye out for them.  GO PACK GO!

Yes, sorry, I meant to say tomorrow. Not sure why "tonight" came from my fingers. Must be just a little too anxious.

Richardson is one of the TE's we drafted, and a potential opening day starter. Definitely are in need of a star player in that position.

Chris Banjo is a safety. He came in and played at the end of the year last year and looked pretty sharp and he is fighting for the 53 man roster. Depending on how he performs, he could win it. I love watching guys like that fight for a spot on the team.

Here are my 2014 NFL predictions:

- Richard Sherman misses 6-8 weeks with a torn jaw muscle.
- The NFL creates a new rule that every time a defensive player looks the QB in the eyes, he is penalized 15 yards for sexual harassment.
- The Indianapolis Colts players will remove their helmets, only to reveal that they are all clones of Andrew Luck.
- Kony will buy the Buffalo Bills and replace the team with child slaves. They will go 9-7 and secure a wildcard spot.
- The Cleveland Browns will sign Justin Beiber to complement Johnny Manziel. Both players refuse to wear anything but jock straps and sun glasses. Both eventually leave the NFL and sign record breaking contracts with the Lingerie League.
- Scouts rank Rex Ryan as having the best arm in the league after watching him repeatedly throw clipboards at his own players.

How come this year so many "experts" love Toby Gerhart? I know he's the lead in Jax, but he wasn't anything special when Petersen went down.

Plus he's already injured.

While I'm not a Packer fan, I do follow them since they are the home team. The paper recently said Hyde is pretty much locked down to start because HaHa is having trouble with assignments. We'll see, though.

^^^ Damn that sucks, at least Hyde seems to be getting better at the Pro level. He was decent here at Iowa, and he's surprised me a few times in GB thus far.

I did catch a small article about Sean Richardson and he seems to be having a great training camp. Does say that Hyde and HaHa should be playing tongiht too

SF didn't look too hot today. Peyton still has it though.

Chiefs/Panthers is on right now.

Fantasy drafts are next week. I can't wait for the season to begin.

Manziel fined 12,000 for flipping the bird towards the Redskins. Does anyone else hope this guy fails in the NFL? This guy is a little punk.

And that's why I don't like him. I understand that he parties and goes wild outside of work and that's fine. But when you're trying to earn the starting QB spot and the respect of your collegues and you're acting like a little kid on the field by flipping off the other team, that stuff won't earn you the starting QB position nor respect.

Mike evans carried him last year. I dont think manziel was that great last year. Mike evans looking good in tampa. Bucs have the biggest outside wrs imagineable. Vjax and evans are going to be a force

I have a friend who doesn't want to play their SEA defense in fantasy because they think the Packers are going to score so much on Thursday night.

I don't have a single player on any of my 4 teams, so I'm just hoping for it to be a good game to watch.

Who is going to win?

I'm fortunate to be a Jets fan. Don't know who the QB will be. Don't know who the RB will be. WR? What's that?

I have their kicker on my fantasy team. I think he'll get alot of work in.

Come on man, I have Settle's defense on my team and I'm playing them. Granted I'm a Hawks homer living in WA but our defense at home? Obviously Rodgers and GB will score but we will get enough plays to make the Def a good start.

GAME DAY!

Any predictions? I'll take the Packers, 21-17. I think Seattle's D is gonna get flagged quite a bit, and Rodgers will use quick slants and outs to beat the secondary.
