See last post for updates.

Yep, I've decided to jump on the self-titled thread bandwagon.

So yesterday I was going to pick up some CIB NES games with my friend when a stranger called me on the phone and told me he has a bunch of Nintendo and Sega stuff that he has to get rid of because he was moving the next day. He had seen my wanted ad on Kijiji so he contacted me first. I told him I would come by in about an hour expecting a great great deal. Instead I got a decent deal, but it's still worth sharing. For the price of 30 dollars I received...

NES:
Double Dragon
Double Dragon II
Double Dribble
Blades of Steel
RBI Baseball 3 Tengen
WF Wrestlemania

N64
CIB 1080 Snowboarding
CIB NFL Quarterback Club '99
WF No Mercy w/booklet
Wrestlemania 2000 w/booklet
WF Attitude w/booklet
WF War Zone booklet only
Mario Kart 64

Gamecube
Not for Resale Zelda "Collector's Edition" (4 in 1 disc + Windwaker Demo)
Mario Kart: Double Dash

SegaGen
Not for Resale Sonic 2
Mortal Kombat
Eternal Champions w/booklet and plastic rental box
+ a bunch of common sports games, some CIB some loose

Xbox 360
NHL 09
NHL 2K9
Madden XX Years: Collector's Edition

And he had a ton of computer games that I decided to take. Most of them are sports. Sadly enough he decided to keep some games/consoles...sitting next to the box I got was a CIB Ocarina of Time, CIB Majora's Mask, and Super Paper Mario. But oh well. I have some decent resale items now.

Yeah, I plan on selling most of it so I'll make some dough. Some of those wrestling games will fill empty boxes, too.

So I had two Kijiji finds today. Here's the first lot, for 25 dollars:

http://img17.imageshack.us/i/hpim...">

Not too bad. It's really to just fill out a few things in my N64 collection, hence some empty boxes. I'm gonna sell my old rough Blast Corps cartridge and I'll probably throw my second Wailaile Country Club cartridge in a ditch.

I like how the box, book, and game for Cruis'n USA all have different sexy action shots of the car.

Anyway, secondly I got all this for $40:

Woo Capcom Power Stick! I can't wait to try it out. The games are Power Rangers, Toy Story, and Street Fighter II. And of course I will sell that Super Nintendo (actually, I'll probably keep it and sell mine - it has no yellowing).

And later I get to sell a CIB DK64 and a 1080 cartridge for $30! Not a bad day.

I don't know. I was kind of disappointed by Blast Corps. I think it's because when I was just starting to get back into retro gaming I bought it for $15 because I had read that it was good. I had done the same thing earlier with Wetrix and loved the game so I figured Blast Corps would be just as amazing, and it didn't stack up. Am I not giving it enough of a chance? Yeah, probably.

Weird, I really liked Blast Corps.  Gets hard after awhile, though.

Check out this really awesome WTB thread that I found, I heard this guy wants games at the cheapest rate possible!  Now on the look out for Unlicensed NES!

Blast Corps is kinda boring at first, but it grows on you. Using the multiple vehicles is a really fun challenge.

Anyways, nice scores! The Power Stick is nice too.

I will try it again someday. I did play it for quite a bit before I got semi-disillusioned with it. A mob of N64 fans can't be wrong.

So my friend tried the Power Stick. He enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we were playing Gemfire, which is the slowest game ever, so I guess he didn't utilize it to full capacity.

So I got a new lot of stuff today after I sold an N64 Expansion Pack to someone for 20 dollars. Here is the lot for 30 bucks:

Not too bad. The lady told me the console doesn't work but the 72-pin seems ultra loose so I'm sure I can get going and sell it. I was really really hoping she actually had Bubble Bobble 2 wrongly listed (I was promised the first Double Dragon, after all) but no luck. Anyway most of this is for resale. I really need to start landing some rarer stuff.

Woo! I stopped into Goodwill today and cashed in pretty good. 3 games (2 CIB) at 4 bucks each!

I was especially blown away by the great condition of the boxes. The weird thing is, I saw a collector who I had sold to before walk out of Goodwill as I was going in (well, I'm pretty sure it was him), but he didn't pick up this stuff. Which makes me wonder if he did pick up anything, because if he did...it's probably way better than this.

Now excuse me, I have to play Super Dodge Ball.

Yep, and now I finally I have a game that my cat-loving girlfriend wants to play (other than Double Dragon II). Apparently her pro-cat policy overrides her anti-Nintendo policy.

Great finds and great avatar. I've heard the whole "My name's Krunch" way too many times from my DKR N64 days.

Nah, I was more of a Bumper (the Badger) or Diddy guy.

Drumstick and the clock were cool too, but they were the unlockable characters that had high speeds or accelerations. I did make it a point to beat that damn Clock on every single track though!

Diddy is meh, but Bumper is a great choice. If I didn't use Krunch I would probably use Bumper. I also like Timber and Banjo, but Krunch can really move once he gets going and he has a sweet jacket.

I don't consider Drumstick that great considering he's an unlockable character, but TT the clock is the shit. He's almost too good. The first time I played this game I tried to beat Wizpig 1 (aka harder Wizpig) with Drumstick for hours and couldn't do it...I switched to TT and did it first try.

So I picked up two different bundles yesterday. I haven't had the time to post due to serious hangover issues. Here's the first lot for 120 dollars. The bottom three games are Mega Man X3, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and Fatal Fury Special. I am selling everything but those three games, Mortal Kombat II, and the Zelda box/inserts. Hopefully I can regain my losses, we shall see. Everything is mint except Fatal Fury Special.
