noice!

edit: watched it. not a good reviewer. "it's great" but "i don't like it" but "i played it" but "yeah, i guess get it" also, who cares about a splash screen? also... whatever, it's exposure for the homebrew world and kudos for Khan and the rest of the lot for continuing to create the magic of the NES.

I think it depends how it's pronounced. K-haaaaaaaaaan, or khaaaaaaaaaaan. See the difference ?

I honestly am not sure if people know the difference, although K-haaaaaaaaan has a nice ring to it, albeit an awkward one to all who have seen Star Trek II: Electric Boogaloo.

I always thought it was just [Kaan] as in Gengis Khan.

This reviewer is definitely all over the place. I wholeheartedly recommend the game. However I do not recommend the reviewer...

Hey!

I've been playing through this game. I haven't skipped any of the levels no matter how stumped I get, because I feel like I got the game just to play the puzzles and what would be the point of missing out on any of them?
I just beat level 86, The Dinosaur, and I just felt compelled to say. DAMN. That level strikes me as genius. There are just so many different ways to arrange the blocks in it, and most of the pushes you have to make aren't too obvious without some careful thinking and figuring out where to sort of backtrack and where not to. Or something. It's hard to describe the relative merits of different stages in a puzzle game like this, just because I guess I haven't played a puzzle game of this sort that is quite so expansive. Lots of levels!

I'm enjoying this game, a few mornings out of the week I plug away at it while drinking my coffee. I haven't tried the level editor yet, but I'll take a look at it after I beat the game!

Hi Dahgrow!

Yes, this game is fantastic, through and through. By brother and I put in a lot of hours to beat this. It was probably the first NES game that he has beaten in nearly 20 years since Mario!

Two things:

I made a post about your game responding to one of your levels on a popular social networking site, nothing special just an acknowledgement.

AND: dang, I know, I KNOW that there is a clever secret in the last level that makes it beatable. I don't know what I'm missing, what it might be, but I have spent too much time pushing on every wall, self-destructing on different tiles, tried to use my first solve of the game to find you can't, I've tried doing things related to the idea of "up," and yeah. Stumped. Right when you have these kinds of puzzles down the game throws a puzzle of a completely different kind at you. Maybe I need to plug a controller into the second port or something crazy like that. I'm going to figure it out.

I quietly plug away at this game still. I think I'm on level 82 or 83. I will admit that I have used a couple of solutions because, well, I earned them and I can so there! LOL! I try to beat at least two levels when I sit down, but every now and then one just completely stumps me for a while. I really love the game, though, and I can't wait to beat it some day.

Ditto to all the above... Really really fun mind bending game. I'm pretty awful at it but usually once I've slept on the puzzles I'll get it. Can't remember how far I am.
