I had the first "Zelda: Outlands" cartridge made in 2004.

I'll vouch for Leon as well.  He's prompt and good at what he does.

Couple of questions...

1. Is Leon still doing the repros?

2. Where can I even attempt to get any of these:

Geminim Limited(33)
Geminim
Glider Limited(10)
Towers of Radia Limited(50)
Towers of Radia

(If I'm reading this correctly, the Towers of Radia hasn't been released yet, so there might be a chance...)

Any suggestions on the rest??

Geminim limited are sold out and shipped, as are Radia limited but they're not shipped yet and I think some are still pending payment. Although there is already a waiting list. Consult the other thread.

I do not know at this time for sure, I believe 5 or so of them will go to people who worked on the release, such as Bunny Boy,probably the original programmer, etc.

Oh hey udisi, I just noticed you don't have a price listed for the Garage Cart on your master list. It was $40.00 if you pre-ordered, and if there were any left after the pre-orders were filled, it was $45.00. I can't honestly remember if there was anyone who didn't pre-order, so I would just list it as $40.00. I distinctly remember this, because it's the most I've ever paid for a single NES cartridge (except for back when NES  games were still in stores, of course).

I'd love to get a repro of Garage Cart or Solar Wars if anyone is doing this.

I have, but what I was mostly looking for were suggestions on how to get those limited releases that have been sold out.

If the comment was about Leon, I got the impression from this thread that he wasn't doing them anymore.  I asked only for confirmation either way.

Thanks.

I thought Solar Wars had a "how to" on the web for making your own repro...

I doubt you can pick up most of the limited carts anymore. I'd just keep an eye out, every once in a while someone will sell their's. As for future releases, I'd just keep an eye out here in the brewery as most are being made by retrozone or people who frequent the boards here.

As for the garage cart I know memblers had talked about a re-release, but he seems to get busy and I'm sure there's other projects he'd like to get done and out instead.

Solar Wars is a possibility, though at this point there are no plans for a re-release.

Leon is still making reproductions at this time, but I do believe he may stop soon due to time restraints.

Thanks Roth, I will update the garage cart issue price

Its boxed up somewhere, it's the same as the one that OSG posted

This is all I could find in my mail archive aside from the purchase emails:

Hi Austin,

Sorry, I don't do PayPal.  Chris Covell burned the EPROMs for me.  Do you
want any of the magazines, manuals, or boxes off my list of extras?

I distinctly remember sometime around then (early 2000's) seeing a website about "making your very own copy of Solar Wars".  Might have been done by Chris, but it DEFINITELY existed as a set of DIY instructions involving a mutilated NES cartridge with proto-style cutouts for the chips.

Yes, Chris's site is still up and it does show you how to make your own cart amongst other things.
