If it helps the servers and those running the sites, then go for it....

But I feel strange thinking about logging into "SegaAge", icky... haha, jokes.

As long as there's tabs to toggle to whichever system you want, that'd be cool.

I don't imagine it'd be so complicated as tabs to toggle "sites" or "versions" per system, rather just keeping the higher SEO ranking "NintendoAge" and adding "Playstation" and "Sega" subforums. Or just closing the other two sites down and making the forums here more general in their schema.

The major issue I could see with combining the sites is all of the archival data that probably exists on the other two. I'm not sure what data exists over on the other sites, but surely there's SOMETHING that would be missed if simply wiped away. So the major effort here would be migrating the data in a way that makes sense and doesn't harm the balance over here on NA.

This is long overdue and needs to happen. It would probably be best just to add a few forums to this site.

I have no idea what you just said... but it sounded good.

Well, in my observation, this is the best old skool style forum for buy/sell/trading old video games, regardless of console. I like to hear that news that, Dain, you were considering consolidating the sites.

I know people use Facebook but I don't, so I want an outlet like this to meet fellow collectors and chat and deal with them directly versus eBay where there's no "connectedness" between buyers and sellers, or Reddit where, well... there are subs t sell stuff over there but the functional design of Reddit isn't conducive to easy buying and selling. The internet needs a place like this for all games, not just Nintendo, and those that have been around here a while know that a lot of discussion and trading still takes place for "everything else".
