Picked up this TurboExpress from one of the teammates on my frisbee team. Amazingly it works flawlessly, unlike the broken one I've had for a while. Super pumped to get it for a good deal, and with the car charger and TV tuner as well.

And the second item I picked up this week is this awesome Zippo display, which just so happens to fit Gameboy games perfectly (idea borrowed from Pat the NES Punk). Probably my favorite display I have right now. The guy said that I'd have to replace to motor because it didn't spin anymore. Took it apart when I got home and found that a plastic support on the lazy susan spinner had broken off. Added a couple of washers under the spinner and now it works great.

And a little video of it in motion

That Gameboy display is awesome. Perfectly suited for Gameboy games and quite a few series's(s?) had three games come out for the system.

Picked this up with my brother tonight. We had this machine when we were kids but gave it to one of my brothers friends around 12 years ago. I recently remembered about it and asked my brother if his friend still had it. Turns out it was still in his parents basement, a couple of weeks later he could finally meet up and we picked it up. Love being able to add this back into my collection after 12 years. Still works exactly as I remember it.

Picked up a sweet new Nintendo sign today. It's one of the awesome World of Nintendo Superbrite signs, and I think I got a pretty good deal on it. The guy I got it from said he's had it since he had a game store in the 90's, unfortunately he said he didn't have anything else. Check out the pics

Had another successful day, picked up everything below for $100. Got another fantastic sign, this time of the Playstation variety. And then I picked up the Super Nintendo games at this mom and pop shop. I can't wait to play Bronkie, I've had asthma since I was a kid, now I'll find out how to defeat it, haha. And I don't collect boxes, so the box is up for trade.

Not a find, but I just finished making a new bead sprite. The Mecha Dragon from Wily's Castle in Mega Man 2. This is by far the biggest one I've made at approx. 3620 beads. I made it over the course of 2 days. Quite happy with how it came out

Just got back from picking up this amazing Super Metroid store promo sign off Craigslist. It is pretty huge, coming in at 6'8" tall and just over 3' wide. This thing is a beauty and I've never really seen another one like it. I really love how you can see one of her eyes through her helmet, it's a great touch. The person I got it from said she got it from a Babbages around 1994. Now I just need to figure out where to put it, ha. Behold the pics

Yellow label Metroid on it for size comparison

Yup the KY craigslist is crapslist with a side of defrauding fools with faux highball licensed nes copycat carts passed off as real.

Just dumpster dived at Gamestop for the first time. I was hoping to find a 360 or PS3 kiosk but not luck. I found some pieces of the 360 one but that's it. Found a bunch of cases with manuals, and one of the display only PS3's. That's all I took, there were also like 100 PS2 cases.

I'm hoping to rewire the 360 sign to make it into a nice display piece

And some random key, assume it was to one of the kiosks

Apparently Maryland craigslist is a pretty hopping place for ads! Around my parts there's too many vultures and not enough meat on the CL bones.

I like how you went looking for something specific and found pieces of it.

What gave you the idea that a kiosk could be there on that day? Are you abusing the force?

Haha, I saw that someone on Facebook found one of each, so I decided to finally go check it out. And also since the PS4 and Xbox One are just about to come out, so they'd have to get rid of them
