Kinda nintendo related:

Traded a NES Toaster strait up for a Sega Nomand w/ AC.  Not a great find, but when you consider the average price I pay for a NES being around  $10-15, it's a great deal!

Question for the masses... as a few of you know I am out in the boonies right now on my annual trip to get my couple hundred bucks worth of Indian Reservation fireworks to have a 4th of July the way it is supposed to be done. No sparklers for me. Anyways, I am in a remote area right now where lighting them off is ok and no one ever bothers us.

Anyways... I happened to go into a store around here the other day and found a crap ton over 100 different used games for various systems... about 20 N64, 40 SNES (mostly sports titles on these), about 20 Intellivision, a few atari, about 10 NES (nothing special although I did buy a mint metroid for $1), 10 Gameboy (bubble bobble was there), 5 game gear, and like 50 Genesis games in the box. All were between $1 to $2.50. I only bought the Metroid, INtelivision Donkey Kong (cause it said made by Nintendo on it), and a couple SNES non sport titles. Is there any point to going back for any of the other stuff? I only collect NES and Sega Game Gear and have a small cart only (about 100) SNES titles for when people with kids come over and they want something to play as I won't let them touch my NES collection. This store also has tons of XBOX and PS2 games CIB but they are like $8 - $12. I do have a PS2 and about 30 games but I didn't see anything I had to have. Neat store anyways... something I will have to remember to check out next year.

sweet man. always cool to find games in the wild for cheap. normally if i think it looks like a fun game to play, no matter what system its for, and if its priced right ill pick i up. Never know when ya might wana rock a little sega for a change. I collect for every system really, but NES is my favorite. And it is always cool to just give little kids a genesis to play. That way they can break it up and it doesnt really matter lol.

That is why I have the SNES. Only games I like to play on it are of course Zelda and I love Mario Kart. All the rest I just pickup different ones when I see them cheap for friend's kids when they come over.

Nope, from Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...ategory0%3D%26fvi%3D1

Payed 20 USD (inc. Shipping) for it. Is this a good price or not ?

A member of FW's forum found a Supervision cart I didn't see on the NA list. So, I thought I'd mention it. It's called Super Mario Bros. 3 but is really Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan) with a crappy title screen hack. He's got pics here: http://www.famicomworld.com/fo...ndex.php?topic=918.105

Does the game work?  I have a Crime Busters and when I click the gun to go it lets me select level 1, 2, or 3.  Once I select that with the gun it goes back to the beginning.  Any help is appreciated.

Hey well one of my best finds in the wild was a factory sealed zelda 2, classic series edition, NTSC at a flea market for only $6. Also, someone mentioned that asking for video games at a garage sale is a good idea if nothing is out there, because one time I did this, and this lady went into her house and came out with a factory sealed copy of Super Mario 64 which I purchased for $10.

not a whole lot of finds lately. but i picked up.......

monster party
tecmo super bowl
star soldier
and quatro sports, which i don't really know anything about, but it looked pretty nifty.

also got..

shadows of the empire n64
yoshi's story n64
and my friends son gave me a gameboy color with tetris and toy story racing which was nice of him. i just helped him move and the gameboy didn't sell at the garage sale so thats why he gave it to me. i have pretty good luck with friends giving me their old games. this is actualy my first gameboy, so now i have another system to start collecting for. woohoo

I went to the local McKays book store and picked up a few SNES games for dirt cheap. They aren't great or anything but for a minty CIB game for .95 each you can't pass it up. Got NCAA Basketball, and Madden 93, completely CIB even with the dust sleeve.

Got a console, and the following 7 games for AUS$45 yesterday from local classifieds
Battletoads
Joe & Mac - Caveman Ninja
Megaman 3
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out
Super Mario/Duck Hunt
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
To The Earth

Needed Joe & Mac, Megaman and To the Earth, so can hopefully recover costs by ebaying the rest

Also, Joe & Mac is the -AUS release, so another AUS find that needs to be added to the database.

Probably $20-ish. Most of those crop-up in Australia pretty cheap. It's the shipping that makes these more expensive anywhere else.
