Nicely done!

ETA:  Thought I should mention that this was so good, in general, the album flowed so well track-to-track I listened to the whole thing twice-through yesterday.  It's seamless.

Maybe use the Flash NSF player so you don't need to stream enormous MP3 files.

Your absolutely right Nathan, I was doing ebay and had an extra tab of it in the background and i listened to it all day, not really noticing when it would go from track to track.  Tommy, it is damn good... just as solid as vegavox when it was the new thing on the scene.  I'd really like to see you get it on a cart

It's considerably better than the original Vegavox.  The transitions in Vegavox are really harsh by comparison, and in jumps styles too much to be "an album" and instead is just a collection of unaffiliated songs.

Vegavox transitions are rougher, I agree, but it is an amazing piece.

Fie is very nice and easy on the ears and blends perfectly.

Love it. Chiptunes are the only kind of music I really listen to. Which is totally unrelated to my collecting, as I made (terrible) chiptunes/various electronic music for years prior to getting back into nes.

Sold about 2k in synths/processors/etc. to fund my collection, in fact!

You know, I got an idea. This is the NSF file, and the sound driver is already built, correct? Do you think it would be possible to hold a homebrewing contest to see who could make a game that would do the soundtrack the most justice? Or at least, if you could let someone use your sound engine and music and work on his homebrew from there.

Just an idea.

Games usually needs sound effects, if you have a driver that just plays music, you would need to modify it to add the effects.

Huh, I did not know that. I thought there was only one sound generating driver, not one for each. So that means, you could theoretically use a Capcom music engine with a Konami sound engine? That would be sweet.

Edit:  Never mind, I misread your post.

Ooh.... That remix is VERY nice. Excellent rhythm section, really good bass (samples?). The piano is a touch quiet, and the horns... well, are tough. But even so, it's great.
