Hey dudes, Nio here, the first "hacker" of this amazing project, gonna tell you a story of trust and betrayal, so sit down and enjoy...
I started this rom some time ago, like a little side project (I was more into Mugen and art that time) but Im only some kind of amateur artist and not a hacker, so I stopped when I found stuff it was impossible to me to do.
A few years later I got a youtube comment from Danger X, interested in helping me to finish this rom, so we started doing more stuff, and in a similar way we got connected to Retroslam who already made changes and send them to us, so we make a new team.
Wanting to do more stuff, we contacted John Riggs and Pac, both guys have hacking experience and we wanted to get help for this game or make a team.
Pac did a tittle screen, a nice looking one indeed and we wanted to change more stuff from the cutscenes but here is were all gets shitty... In that time we included Googie too (another rom hacker) and helped with some stage design too.
We started to ask questions without answers or any help, but still trying ideas and new stuff, all happy like a happy family.
Later on Darkmoon joined the party, and maaaaan, he has done amazing things since then, like making wall climbing codes and more stuff, at that time, that code was already added and Retroslam edited a few songs for the rom, and we got the multiple costumes idea.
This is when all gets strange, Pac starts to feel like a Ninja, just watching the chat but never contributing to us, Dan and I started to suspect a few things that later were not suspicious.
Pac released (well, more likely sell) a new NG hack, with wall climbing, alternate costumes and cutscenes all edited and also with Retroslam music.
A guy got the game and send us a video, showing us that he stole work from us, so Danger ask him why he did that, instead of helping and contributing to the team, and he said our rom was shit, bad, etc etc and that was why he made his own NG hack.
Of course we kicked him out of the chat, and get angry but still credites him on our hack.
All was again happiness until I saw a John Riggs video and hear something I missed the first time... "This Pac hack with help from Googie"
And well, my head became paranoid, if Googie helped Pac and he knew he was stealing work, surely he would steal get our updates or steal more stuff, so I told to Dan to remove him and blame me.
And Dan did it and Googie got mad-sad about it, telling Dan that Pac didnt trust him and blah blah blah...
Now, Pac is making "preorders" of our rom, calling it "his rom" and showing stuff of some old-new rom he didnt had access unless of course Googie send it to him, proving my point.
We encourage you to not buy his versions, first of all, because its glitchy, ugly and old, but more importantly, its not his work, he is telling people he is doing this because we are shitty guys and we just stole his work and Googie's work and make them look like ours.
So please, dont buy the game from him, its not complete and also we will release the rom for free...
