That's pretty funny. I found my first 3DO in a Value Village for less than $10. (That thrift has gone to hell lately tho, no good finds and everything overpriced.)

Small towns are where its at for me. Just about everything in this thread was picked out of small towns across rural Oregon/SW Washington. The CIB's from the video store I got from a rental store that was actually still in business. The CD-I was found in a St Vincent DePaul. Couldn't find any games for the sucker, I'll have to go take another look.

Got all of this plus a few 70's Disney puzzles for the kid for a total of $5.

The D&D stuff is av ailable for trade if you want it. Seems to be complete. Maybe the N64 guides too.

man that's awesome. Vagrant story is so damn hard, a guide might actually make it playable.

Dropped $200 on all of these. The ones in the last picture do not have the manuals unfortunately. The highlight of this haul for me is War 2410.
Gotta love local scores. Knocked out a good chunk of Disney titles too.

Survival Kids and Super 25 in 1 $5 each. Manuals were FREE!
The boxed games I got off Amazon for cart only prices. Shipping cost $32 though so......... about $95 total
None have manuals, but they mostly all have styro, dust covers, baggies and inserts...
Gunsmoke ans Superman are pretty beat but the others are better than I expected.

Workin out of town last week and found these.
CIB NES DuckTales $8.99 really nice shape
CIB SNES Xardion $2.99
N64 cart Beastwars Transformers $4.95

EDIT* So after I posted this I decided to go to the local game store to wee what was new. Came home with a boxed with inserts and baggie (but no manual) Blackthorne for SNES. Price $13. Very fair IMO. No way is this really just an R2.

Those came from the same rental store that I got all of those $5 CIB's from in the last rew months. (previous posts) The games had been lost or stolen over the years, so the boxes were probably thrown out, but the manuals were still stashed away safely with the rest of them. The NES manuals all all like new still, but I wish I could say the same for those poor SNES ones.
I've been working on cleaning the place out, but its a long ways away so I can't go often. Got most of the good stuff already, but still plenty of stuff I don't have yet.

Working out of town this week so I checked the local craigslist and pawn shops. Lufia was from a guy on craigslist for $30 with box and manual but no map. The other 2 were fairly priced at a pawn shop. Couple of hard to find games in the wild. Pocky and Rocky 2 I've been wanting, and Secret of the Stars fills my empty box. The marker is on clear tape so it should come clean with no issue.

I found Best of the best (as well as manyof the other loose carts) at Game Crazy down in Salem while I was working there. There are 2 stores there that were independently owned and operated before Hollywood Video bought the name. They are still up and running today. Prices are extremely random there.
keep your eyes peeled and good luck hunting!

Movie/TV games

All Boxed games with manuals except Battletoads, Rambo Roger Rabbit and Lego Racers $100 total About $5 each
Volleyball $2.99
Jaws $7.99 which would be way too much if it didn't have 5 screws in the back......
