This year my pre-season pick was Minnesota over Houston in the Super Bowl
Last year I picked the Saints over San Diego.
So far i'm looking half-right again, but I think I'll stick with it. I think the Bears will shoot themselves in the foot down the stretch and the Vikes still win the division. I hope I'm wrong.
Anyone else care to share their picks?
Todays Rantings:
The Leons are the most cursed team in the NFL, they out-gained Green Bay, but felt they still needed to give away another game. The haven't won in Lambeau for nearly two decades. and are on a 43 game road losing streak. I think they are as talented as any team in the NFC north, they just keep shooting themselves in the foot. They have two big-time receivers, who cant seem to hold on to the ball. Best seems to have caught that bug today also. Shawn Hill played his butt off today, no one seem to help him out.
I'm sure Jonas is satisfied with the Skins winning today. Kolb has never showed any signs he's ready to be a starter. I always thought Andy wanted Vick to start. Shipping off McNabb was the only way to do that. But an injury to Vick will put them into a tailspin. McNabb is a long ways from being washed up. I give Andy props for sending him where he wanted to go, but that was BAD for Philly.
The officiating crew that did the Philly-Skins was the same that did the Bears Packers game if I remember right. With the play clock situation, nearly the same thing happened in Chicago. That crew is terrible. There should NEVER be a delay of game after a timeout.
The Bears have the worst line/blocking scheme in the NFL, and Cutler is trying to make plays down the field.
An 11-step drop isn't working, I think they should try a 20-step drop.
I can, the browns have been in every game this season dispite loosing all but todays. Hilles has been doing good on the ground.
edit: and the bengals have been sputtering also

He's not the worst. Have you seen Jamarcus Russell play? He made Ryan Leaf look good.
I would like to see you play in the NFL at 41 years old. Not to mention last year was his best statistically.
Take away someone's top targets. Skip training camp. Run on first and second, like clockwork. Insert Random free-agent Receivers. Throw on third and long. Loadholt can't block for crap, unless it's a run to the other side. Your best receiver this year is nicknamed Shanks. Obviously that won't go well, even if your playing the Lions.
I'm amazed that the guy has the guts to not just quit. But I can understand, it gets old with the un-un-retiring every season. I don't blame anyone for hating the old fart.
He's not the best, but he's definitely not the worst either. Probably the best option the Vikings have right now.
We'll know for sure, when they play the Lions in Detroit. I predict a Lions win. Because they are way over-due for one.
Next year the Rams could be a playoff force. I think this year they have a good chance at making the playoffs, but it will probably come down to the wire.
It's hard to expect any rookie to take them deep the first year, but it can be done. They have some weapons.

No kidding, he is averaging around 5.6 ypc I think. And seems like a hole new Adrian. He was almost ordinary last year, with Taylor picking up his slack, but this year is definitely better.
Now he is holding on to the ball, and busting out moves like his first fiew years. I hope he can stay healthy.
And I hope Gerhart can find a new gear. He needs to be better.
Me too. I'm not so worried, they played with some fire in Houston and their schedule is nothing special in the coming months. Honestly, the Packers, the Saints, and the Colts are the only really rough teams left in the schedule. I know they can beat the Redskins, Eagles are fucked, and the Giants haven't looked very good either.
With their defense and running game, I see no real issues otherwise. Romo draws alot of hate but Miles Austin makes a good QB WR tandem, one of the best in the league if you ask me. If Dez Bryant steps up outside of special teams and Roy Williams makes something happen, I think they'll at least pull off one playoff win this year.
