thanks for posting all of those dumars. great links. I had noticed most of those also... the impressive part is they are not even for exceptional copies, either. pretty standard condition for the most part.

no problem bronty, with the current sealed market and your almost sealed collection; you gotta be sittin on at least a half million $! at least your kids will be taken care of, lol.

It's amazing how things have changed in the past few years - I saw the same thing on that Gyro - I was more suprised to see some of those huge prices on what I thought were fairly commmon titles - maybe they are not that common anymore

thought I would bump this thread. I was thinking some of the prices the other night seemed high but if I think about it pretty much any good bb seems to be 5k lately. Here's a list of some recent auctions all around the 5k mark

volleyball
popeye
mario bros
donkey kong 3
urban champ
gyromite (resealed!)

and also wrecking crew at 4k

(all rev-a circle seals IIRC, except for the vball (hangtab) and the resealed gyro).

^^^ first sticker sealed copy I've ever seen (and only the 2nd hangtab copy I've seen), and my snipe was a lot higher than that

thanks guys. Its a real "tight" 85 too, its one of those 85s where if somebody sent it to you as an 85+ you wouldn't mind and could see it.

nice on the smb3 ark and holy shit re killer instinct jone. That's a massive overpay.

@Ark, about the SMB3:  Yeah kinda surprising but I was guessing at least $700-$800 range. And Gary sold one for $400-$450 in the spring, so about double "seems right" in the current market. Probably a bit on the high side but not mind-boggling crazy like some price points this year.



Edit: Bronty... N64 values are way up higher than people realize... KI has some legit demand associated with it.  There's a waitlist of buyers on that one.

Still impressed at how the BB games have appreciated---I remember a few years back when 1-2k was considered insane---curious to see if these can continue to climb or where their top is----there still are a lot of NES titles out there that are a steal considering their rarity tho

Totally agree on all accounts.  As for why the BB games keep going up versus some of the others that are still steals, I think the BB games have several added benefits.  Some of which include the fact they are considered a set and can be compared/contrasted against others in the set, that they have an active following in the CIB collectors realm, and also since they are 1st party games and among the initial launch titles to boot, which add to their lore.

Was just looking at these one eBay. Very impressive sales, he sold an SMB 3 raw for ~$650, this one seems to be getting more attention lately.

1942/1943 have really shot up on me of late. I remember another (better) 1942 went for 1800 not that long ago. yowza.
