That's awesome! I open and clean every NES/SNES/N64 cart that comes through my hands (probably well over 1500) through the years and have never found anything weirder than metal strips for retail store theft detectors. Lots of old soda stains too :-P

Hmmm...you know, I do have some carts that are significantly heavier than others. For example, I was looking through my Zelda N64 Ocarina of Time carts (I have a couple), and one of them was really heavy and I remember thinking it was odd. I guess I'll take a look inside and see. It is probably nothing though - and I'm definitely not going to go open all my carts because there is like a 0.0000000000000001% chance that one of them will have any money, haha.

funny you mention the soda stains because i have seen too.  Who are these people who were pouring soda directly into their carts?

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

holy balls.

A friend in high school bought a used car at auction. Got a flat and later discovered in the wheel well several kilos of Coke and a ton of cash. He turned it all in. I wanted to have the best high school party ever.

I swear this must have been a really popular hobby in my area.  I've cleaned large amounts of soda off of at least 15 of my SNES games.  Usually the boards too, like they dumped it right in the slot.
