Picked up an official top loader NES about 2 years ago at a flea market for a whopping $5, Power Blade 2 for $2, Bubble Bobble for $2, about 10 complete N64 games for $3 a piece.  I pretty much bought the table.  They were happy...but no way as happy as me.

Picked up Little Samson with a buy it now of around $15 ($20 shipped) about a year ago off ebay (value at the time - approx $50)

Picked up Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 2 Complete in a poorly listed ebay auction that did not even mention it was 2 and did not show a picture of the box or manual - lot also came with about 5 other games boxed all for around $18 shipped.

Picked up Caltron 6 in 1 with a buy it now of around $135 off ebay about 2 years ago which I later sold for around $200 (really should not have sold it though, as I still need a copy of it for myself)

Picked up Contra, Super C, Contra Force in a lot altogether for around $20 about 2 years ago.

Picked up Sealed Firehawk for $3 shipped about 6 months ago.  I'm still looking for a cart only form so I can play it, but sealed for $3 I mean come on.

Deal I wish I bought - someone listed all three Panesians approximately a year ago with a buy it now of around $125...I was a minute late of buying it....uggh

BEST DEAL EVER - PICKED UP A LOT OF 250 Unique NES games to compliment my current collection for $450 shipped off ebay via buy it now

I've had a few decent deals, but only two great deals. First, I found a CIB DW IV at a local store for $20, and then my best deal to date was a CIB Gyromite Big Box with Rob for $50 BIN on eBay.

My best deals were:

1) Around 1000 NES instructions manuals for $.25 each. Some local guy had a ton of them for some reason. First I bought about 600 then I went back and bought the rest, which ended up being ABOUT 1000 manuals total. I also scored about 400 SNES manuals from him total.

2) Bubble Bobble Part 2 CIB, Maxi 15 boxed, about 5 other CIBs, about 10 other loose cartridges - for $80 shipped. I found a very poorly listed auction and offered the lady $80 for it and she accepted. I wasn't 100% sure that Bubble Bobble was complete or not, I just saw the end of a red box in the picture and wasn't sure.

3) 400 loose NES games including NTSC Stadium Events and many random accessories for $2225. That may sound like a lot, but I ended up reselling everything else individually so basically I got SE for very cheap (less than $200). Link

4) When I first started collecting I purchased 400 loose carts on eBay for a little over $800. There were less than 20 duplicates in this lot.

5) Bought a N64 w/ 8 games, and a SNES w/ 9 games for $50 from some local guy. Many good selling games were included such as the Mario Party games for N64. Mario Party 3 was included but had stickers all over it. When I took them off, I found out that it was the NFR kiosk version! That was a nice little surprise!

6) 50 boxed NES games for $150. Some of the better titles included Donkey Kong Jr. Math, Clu Clu Land, Blues Brothers, Wizardry 2, and many others. Many of the games were uncommon and very few of them are very common. All the boxes are in very good condition, but no manuals. The Donkey Kong Jr. Math box is practically mint.

Hard to remember for me, I have had some nice scores but it has been a while.

1.) I got about 300-350 boxes from a friend I helped out for $1 each. Most of them were rental but were almost all shrinkwrapped with a sleeve and styro in most of them. Plus all the stickers were on the outside on not on the boxes. I am talking some good stuff too, like Princess Tom, Dusty Diamond, Little Samson, Bonks and lots more. From the same guy I also got several hundred manuals for .50 each with many awesome titles as well.

2.) I had a few repair center buy outs for some nice stuff. The best one was probably when I got 5 different test stations, tons of parts, a few test carts and lots of random paperwork for 650 shipped.

3.) By todays standards the prince I paid for my Panesians was cheap. BBB was 325, Peek a Boo was 375, and HS was 420 I think.

4.) I meet a guy locally once that had 400-500 games. I bought a lot of 100 from him for 100 bucks. Once I got home I sent him a message and bought all the others from him for 1 each as well. It had a bunch of dups but mostly good selling dups. Had like 10 Zeldas, 12 Castlevania's, 5 Contra', 8 MTPO, the list keeps going. Once it was all said and done I made 2-3k in profit after all my expenses on that one

I have a bunch more but I can't remember them now, getting old sucks.

I haven't bought any big lots ( biggest is 31 games) but I do find some uncommon stuff occasionally for cheap

1) Boxed NES + loose NES + 31 games ( Mega Man 2 , 3 ,4 ,5 , Toki , Rocking Kat's,Super Mario Hong Kong version, Little samson,...) = 70 USD
2) Supervision 76 in 1 = 3 USD
3) Chip 'n Dale & Spy Hunter both factory sealed for 3 USD/piece
4) Action 52 = free (a NES + 15 games for 15 USD, resold the NES , got the games for free )
5) Duck Hunt (hong kong version CIB) = 20 USD (inc. shipping)
6) Action 52 (black PCB) = 19USD (inc. shipping)
7) 2 Nintendo Super System games (something like the playchoice 10 for the nes) = 19 USD for both (inc. shipping)
8) Little samson CIB = 12 USD

lots and lots of stuff, but my favorite deal was about 40 rare sealed nes games that I bought for five grand. Sold some of the doubles for about five grand and still have the other thirty or thirty-five games which were basically free after selling the doubles. The 30 or 35 include lots of good stuff, some of it basically impossible to find sealed - like chubby cherub, sqoon, DK math, etc.

Other random deals that come to mind
- 10 sealed zeldas for $1000 (probably sold about six of them for 2000 and still have 4)
- a couple of sealed chavez 2's for $35 each
- sealed secret of mana for 175 (this was actually on ebay)
- 25 sealed double dragon 3's for $500
- 8 sealed double dragon 2's for $20 each
- 10 sealed mickey mania's for $5 each
- sealed might and magic $6
- a couple sealed race americas, $35 each
- two sealed dead mint tengen tetrises for $155 combined
- sealed link (non-classic), sealed warriors of destiny, and something else sealed for $227.50 on ebay (sold the link for 300 and have the others for free)
- sealed urban champion, $200
- sealed pirates!, $15

God knows what else - it gets hard to track it because I sell most of the "scores".

-------------------------

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

I am kinda referring to stuff I actually need and want for my collection goals. I have hit a bit of a slump.

The other stuff is ok i guess.

I've got a few good deals in the past

- Mr. Gimmick cart for $5 (it was in a lot of 6 games for $30)

- MegaMan 5 CIB - PAL/SCN for $8.30 (first I got the box and the manual for free, then the guy offered me the cart for that price).

- System w/2 controllers, joystick, zapper and 30 CIB PAL/SCN games (U-four-ia, Bubble Bobble, etc) for a NiB GameCube.

- A big lot of NOS PAL/SCN manuals (F2, Mr. Gimmick, U-four-ia, etc) for about 10 loose carts for N64 and GB.

- Trolls in Crazyland cart for a SMB3 cart.

- And a lot more I don't remember right now.

You'll probably be able to tell that I haven't found many great deals yet, since I'm touting this as my best. I just got a black box Mario Bros CIB for <$8 on eBay. Apparently people don't look for Brothers spelled out completely as this auction didn't attract a lot of attention. Their loss...

Brings me to 9 games CIB, 3 boxes, and 3 manuals to go in my first 50 games set. Getting this in the mail today plus beating Ghosts 'n Goblins yesterday (I used a lot of continues, so sue me) makes for a pretty good week.

I recently discovered the a large pay-to-get-in flea market in my area(quite a drive though), and I landed up buying lots of games for cheap to resell. I found lots of cheap goodies for everything except the nes. =(
Not too bad though cause I picked up lots of other stuff to resell. FF7 + 2xFFTactics for 11$, and other junk. Contra Hard Corps almost factory sealed, but opened for 3$.(Still has the wrapper on it) I think the only thing I picked up that was nes was The Lone Ranger and Classic Concentration mint carts for a buck each.
I'll be going back this weekend for sure though. =)
