Fell one pin short of a perfect game in the 8th frame.

I managed to tie you score, bimmy! But of course you posted yours first so that still puts you in the lead.
This game is pretty fun, but also irritating... there is an element of chance in the outcome which means that you can execute the exact same curve and power from the exact same spot on the lane and get different outcomes... which is lame. Still pretty fun though.
Edit: pic fixed?

^Ace, your picture didn't show up. I agree, this game is fun, but irritating at the same time. I think bowling a perfect game is nothing but pure luck. You can throw the ball with the same power and curve each time and get a strike 4 times in a row, and then the next time, you only knock over 9 pins. This happens to me without fail on either the 4th or 7th frame, except when I took my picture for the contest. That happened on the 8th frame. I've tried standing in different spots, different curves, even tried every bowler, but I still can't throw a perfect game, no matter what. Oh well, it's still a fun game.

Yes! I swore the game was conspiring against me always at the 4th frame, I'd get a turkey then repeat the same exact throw and get 9 pins or a split. I'm glad it's not just me that noticed that so now I know I'm not crazy...
Yeah I tried experimenting with different weight balls but same result - every 4th frame or so there would be a local disturbance in the fabric of reality, with the very laws of physics themselves conspiring against me! Btw, the ball physics surprisingly don't change that much when you change the weight... I had the same sweet spots no matter what size ball.

Pic shows up when I quote your post.  That will be sufficient.  You're not crazy, I get the same disturbance in the fabric of reality as well   The ball looks like it's on path for a strike in the 4th frame and then it suddenly cuts to the side & misses one of the back pins.  I also agree, the ball physics don't seem to matter much.  I've tried multiple weights with the same sweet spots and I always miss a pin on the 4th frame.  Sometimes I adjust my stance for the 4th frame and get a strike, but then I end up missing a pin on the 7th frame.

300!

I really thought Marton would  do it before me, but I finally figured out how to perform a perfect game. For those who think it lies mostly on luck, I would say the game is much more consistent than I initially thought myself as well.

1 : I seriously hate you, and I know where you live, so watch out

2 : I agree here, the game is pretty consistent, I just totally messed up on the last shot. I'll try to do it if I have free time this weekend.

3 : which character/bowl did you used ?

I...DESPISE...THIS GAME!!! I can't even get 200! I guess there's a learning curve, but I just can't figure it out. Not sure if I'll try much more for this.

1: Dare to come over and I'll kick your ass hard!

3: I used the female player with a 7 lbs ball.
I don't know if I could do exactly the same routine with different players or balls and get the same result (did not try it yet), but with this combination I can do a pattern to get all strikes. I'll show you next time we hung up somewhere.

Let's say you just need to figure out what throw type you need to perform at each frame to get strikes. The sequence is always the same, and is different on each "lane".

Best I could do is 215. Had this game a while but never played it. The music got annoying after a bit.

The music is just awful, I can't stand that high pitching super fast melody. That's plain crap.

My wife made that in elementary school. We live in Fancy Gap, VA. I get a few laughs from people from other places when I tell them where I live.

Spent a half hr or so trying to identify the correct sequence ( I used the white dude) but no success. I am still convinced there is, at the very least, an element of randomness in the success of a given throw. I've kept logs and on numerous occasions had different outcomes for the same exact position, power, and curve on the first frame. Probably shoulda tried the lady bowler since you had success with it but no time... ah well. I was pretty happy with my score though, didn't think i'd get even that much. Thanks for the tips guill and great job everyone!
