Hi All!

Here to introduce myself. My name is Tony, and I go by OldStuffJunkie. I have been a big fan of this site for years, and have benefited much from the collective wisdom and knowledge of everyone here. You are all more helpful than you could possibly know, and I thank you all for your positive contributions to the gaming community.

I never had the occassion to join and post here myself, but I found a need to, so here I am. Becoming a part of this community seems long overdue for me, though. I'm glad to be here, and hope to get to know many of you in the future.

I've made a post about a suspicious eBay listing I would like some help/guidance on if anyone is so inclined. Any help is greatly appreciated:

For a little about me: I've been an avid gamer since I was probably 6 years old, and my first system was a Sega Genesis (*boo get out of here* yeah I know). I was casually into collecting in my early years, but have become more avid over the past 7. My favorite genres of gaming pieces are the outlandish, bizzare, unusual, weird and of course, absurdly rare. I have probably bought items from some of you off of eBay over the years (cheers). I also have a particularly strong (often rabid) affinity for accessories, and any hardware that can make already obnoxious gaming systems more closely resemble frankenstein's monster.

Anyway, thats a bit about me. Again, I hope to talk to many more of you in the future. Happy Gaming!

Welcome to the site!

To the Finder...
The Isle of Koholint is but an illusion...
Human, monster, sea, sky...
A scene on the lid of a sleeper's eye...
Awake the dreamer, and Koholint will vanish much like a bubble on a needle...
Cast-away, you should know the Truth!

Thanks for your welcomes!

To be perfectly honest, I'm a big Playstation collector (mostly PS1), and I'm also very much into Sega Saturn.

That said, some of my most important pieces are N64; I don't discriminate.

All in all, though, it doesn't matter what system, production company or distributor a piece comes from. The weirder and more unusual, the better for me. That's what revs me up. Something that could show up maybe once in a blue moon in another galaxy.

For example, one of my favorite pieces is the first game in the Magna Carta series: The Phantom of Avalanche. Although it's a PC title, I found the collector's edition, which is this enormous big book almanac-sized thing with tons of extras, artwork, etc. I love the fact that it's a game that was only released in South Korea, and it's the most ridiculous limited edition of something I've come across or even owned.
