What is the name/nick of this brazilian guy? I remember buying a sealed Zelda 3 from a guy in Brazil and when i got it the box as crushed and the plastic was teared. Im sure it was due to the extreme bad packing tho, a thin paper envelope and 1 layer of thin bubblewrap. I dont remember if it even had bubble wrap or if it was just some plastic, but atleast it was bad protected. I got some money back tho [IMG][/IMG]

I believe that was a different clown altogether. I bought a sealed DKC2 from that guy. Got crushed also. Still sold it at a profit so I couldn't be too pissed, and his games were sealed at least. The guy Dain and I were talking about, his games showed up fully opened :/

Ye, might be the same guy. My Zelda 3 was Greatest Hits (i knew this tho) so it wasnt really THAT big of a deal that it was broken. Still in good condition if you look away from the dents in the box hehe :\

Exactly! It's like you know the games were mint before his stupid ass put them in the mail that way :/

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

did you get that snow bros from me? Wrap is still on it but opened at the bottom?

The "customs destruction" copy that caused me to let out a blood curdling scream... was sealed and MINT until those pricks opened it. I still get emotional thinking about it, LOL.[IMG][/IMG]

Sweet collection pics!

man that would of pissed me off. sorry to hear about that

Thanks. Yeah, it still pisses me off sometimes. If I hadn't somehow managed to find another one (still don't know how I pulled that off) I'd so be pissed 24/7

Damn nice collection, Xevious! I, too, would like more small box games. I've got a handful, but need several for a set.

Dude, I liked your pics last time I saw them but you still got that little tv... one of these days maybe I'll send you one like mine! Maybe not!

In case the pic doesn't do it justice, which it doesn't, that's 67 inches of HDTV, dual HDMI, sweetness!! Super Bowl party was quite fun at my house, next year you're all invited, provided you can make it to WA state in time.

Yeah, the TV is a bummer, but it was free. My big TVs are in my main room and my bedroom. This is more of just a housing for games than a room to play games. Eventually, all of the walls in my room will be full of shelving, so I'm not sure how much room I'll have for a big TV, but if you want to send one my way, I won't complain!!

What did that set you back? Looks super nice but I don't think I could spend that much on a tv..

Man your TV is sexy Erik. My friends mom has a 60 inch flat panel HDTV that hangs in there living room. It has a PDA as a remote and has full internet access. She said it costed them like 15k for it all.

Bronty, my TV with the 1000 WATT 5 disc surround sound DVD changer was around $5,000 total for it all. I have a 53 inch TV in the master bedroom as well and 32 inch TV's in the 2 guest bedrooms. That TV is my baby though! :-)

I guess that's not too bad considering its high def and came with the sound system. Nice looking setup.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

yeah, so mine is nowhere near as impressive as those of you that have posted, but I can take some ridicule over the size of my um... collection.

That's not too shabby at all, burdger. Actuallly, considering that I can see a boxed (complete?) Stack-Up up there on the shelf, it's already got some prestige! I didn't get a CIB Stack Up myself until just last November, and I've been collecting NES since 1999 (though I don't have the bankroll that some of these guys have).

Just ignore the heavy hitters and go at your own pace

-------------------------

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

Yeah, it is a complete Stack Up. I actually have another one that is just missing the manual. That picture just has my collection. All of my dupes are sitting here next to my computer.
