So, i noticed i got a coupon today from eBay for $50...didn't say for what and why. Anyway, i decide to buy something I needed and BAM doesn't work, tried like 15 different random things after and still nothing. So, I call eBay and explain how come i have this coupon but can't use it. The customer service told me she will look into it and it literally took like 35mins waiting on the phone and she issued me a new coupon, so i went ahead and bought couple of toys parts to complete my figures. Then i notice this "PlayStation fullfillment coupon" and after googling looks like I got $50 from eBay for well nothing ,just like that lol.

Its supposed to be a 50 dollar coupon to purchase a ps4 pro from only a certain dealer. The coupon wasnt for anything but that.

Yes but thing is before she issued me another one the one I had didn't say anything about PlayStation...it only showed up like that after sometime I already used new coupon.

I imagine same as eBay bucks... or any coupon. The amount comes off the total before you pay.
 

Woohoo! I called eBay, pointed out that the terms and conditions did not include any of the exclusions about specific items from a specific seller that they were telling me on the phone, asked for the supervisor, and got my $50 coupon processed for only a 21 minute phone call   Thanks for the heads up.

Really? Honestly I'm not sure they're doing it now because I haven't been buying hardly anything lately, but it was on within the last year or two. Kind of like credit card cash back. For every dollar you spend, you get a penny in credit or something like that. I got a couple bucks off a few times. Issued quarterly and expires quarterly. after 30 days    here it is

When i was calling, it said just coupon, so I was calling why it doesn't work on any stuff I am trying to buy.

But at this point I think you can just turn on "stupid" and ask for a new coupon.
 

eBay bucks is a great program by the way. Everyone should look into it if they buy and sell a lot on eBay.

Holy moly, how did I not know about this? You just enrol in it and then start collecting, that's awesome! It also makes me wonder why you have to enrol, they should just give them to everyone, that makes more sense.

This is exactly it...basically, put them in the position to where they have to honor the coupon they offered.  The lady was apologizing like there was nothing she could do, but the request to speak to a supervisor seemed to clear it all up    I never even had to speak to the supervisor--suddenly the lady I was talking to was magically empowered to issue the coupon herself  

 

For what it's worth I got that coupon too and I read it as having to buy a PS4 or PS4 Pro to get $50 off.
