Oh, and to make it official: The list is now big enough to post, but I am waiting for Dain to finish his submissions. Once I get them all in, I will be resubmitting it at GameFAQs for ease of updating and linkage. I will also be supplying the info to NintendoAGE in order to add the info to the database. I don't want submissions to stop though, there's still alot to go - after Dain submits everything, I still need around 500-600 titles for the list, plus regional variants (-CAN, PAL regions, etc) and various controllers and such (SpeedyNES, if you've opened any of your sealed accessories, could you submit that info too please?). The list is far from finished, just ready to be posted.

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Yeah. Dain hasn't finished submitting everything either, although when he does, he will be the biggest contributor. Dr. Morbis is a distant second, and then myself, with smaller contributions from a few other names around here and other forums. I'm not sure exactly how big the list is at the moment, it's probably pushing 200-250 items, but I'm not 100% certain. Should be around 400 or so once Dain finishes his end...I leave for work in 15 minutes so he's got a few hours to get some more done ( ).

WTB Cdn sealed black boxes, sealed Cdn first party titles.    I.e. the "mattel" Cdn boxes with both french and english.   Mainly black boxes, zelda, link, and tyson, but let me know what you have.    I am interested in anything I don't already have!

Um, question...the "NES-DOC-USA" insert that came with Nightshade...was it the epilepsy warning, or the projection TV warning. Pretty sure it's the epilepsy doc, but just want to make sure. Thanks

You'd be the first ...and opening it will be helpful whether he has that game entered or not since nobody really knows how many print runs most of these games had.

Well I decided to make my first contribution to the sealed NES game content list, heres all of what Exodus: Journey to the Promised Land had in it.

Unlicensed games are kinda boring, no flyers or advertisements inside

Ah but be careful some of them do. In fact I have posters and coupons, etc on both Color Dreams and Wisdom Tree stuff like this one is so they sometimes do have "goodies" in there.

One other thing there are two cart variations on this game black with black back label and black with embossed back label so you should let the Wiz know which one this is.

Good to know Eric. I'll hold off on adding it until the info is available. Glad he took a shot of the version number though...one less question to ask

Widar, I need to know which poster it is. There's several that I've seen. List off the titles from the top left, going counter-clockwise to the bottom right...or take a picture of it laid out (I should be able to match it to one that I already have). Also, StarTropics was on the list, but not the * variant manual version, so that would be a separate listing. This is why I need games to be submitted even if they're listed - different print runs have different contents

Actually, yes, there has been. A few were identical except for the Nintendo Power card, but there have been some fairly major differences in some of them.

BTW, I just opened a sealed Panic Restaurant, sealed Arkanoid, sealed Dragon Warrior, and a few others. I love CGE!

Hey Mike Just opened up my Sealed Klax. Here's the info. P.S. for anyone wanting a near mint KLAX (I know there were a couple people wanting CIB Tengen stuff lately on here) I will be selling my Near mint Collection copy now that I have this perfect copy. That book is actually really cool has all the different Tengen titles for all the different systems available with prices and pictures, even Tengen games for cpu... really neat. There is a game in there for computer only by Tengen called APB (All Points Bulletin) looks pretty cool, wonder why it never came out on NES?

Anyways here's the scoop with pic!

Box
Cart
Manual
Short version Tengen Sleeve
Thinner Styro to make room for book/manual to fit in box
Tengen "Game Player Response Card"
Tengen Sales Catalogue
