I shut down the majority of my in the wild game hunting around Halloween since I rely mostly on garage sales and this is New England.  Then I turn my focus to selling apps and my FB in search of games ad but not as many people on them around the holiday and winter months it would seem.  I still do fairly well in the spring/summer months though, check out my finders keepers thread for last year's finds.  I think I did OK considering it was 2017.

I know its cliche but you just have to be persistant.  Make your local rounds on your way home from work.  Don't go out of your way, but be persistent.  Location matters too.  Rural areas wont be as easy as big cities.  Its nothing like 10 years ago but the stuff is still out there.

Make sure you span out to as many places as possible. Make any connections you can, and keep looking! I still find lots of crazy stuff everyone once in a while, but I really put in the hunting time. If you enjoy the hunt, you'll find the stuff!
