I could understand in dry states, but I'm probably in one of the most humid/wet states around, like I said before, people just traffic them in anyway from Missouri, so whats the point?

Law enforcement, thinks the law is a Joke also, so it never gets enforced.

The state is just loosing Tax money.

That really sucks! We had a kid almost go to the ER because someone threw a lit (but small) firework at him. Not good!

No kidding. 92% of the the state of Texas is under a burn ban so Texas is basically one big tinder box. 

Between the Casey Anthony verdict and this, I don't know which one to facepalm harder at. On one hand, a woman who killed her little girl is set free. One the other, stupid people with fireworks burn down several city blocks. Hmm...

Traditionally, my family and I light fireworks every 4th of July. I'm glad to say, however, that we did not this year. The drought is simply too severe where I live. I'm proud to not have contributed to potential negativity.

Maine just passed a law to legalize fireworks but it doesn't go into effect until the beginning of next year.It's about time though fireworks have been illegal for what seems like forever.
