Met up with a couple of people via Craigslist.

Finally got my hands on a beautiful gold N64 and 2 controllers.

And quite a bit more.

Paid $150 for the Gold N64 stuff, the rest of the N64 stuff, and the Game Boy stuff.

Very cool. Had you ever played Castlevania Chronicles before you picked this copy up from eBay? Overall I think it's a great redux of the original version and the music, as always, is excellent!

Oh and dang that gold N64 looks like it's in mint shape. Sweet snag!

It's close. Has a couple of scratches that don't seem to show up in the picture. Overall though, I was pretty darn impressed with the condition of the system and the controllers (which are pretty minty). I was worried because they guy took a picture of the bundle all thrown together in a box.

As for Castlevania Chronicles, I had never played it until I got it. I actually forgot that it was a redux of the first game and after recently completing the first game, I instantly recognized the first level. I just need to get a working memory card for my PS2 so I can actually play through it.
 

Iirc, it's a redux of the one from either the sharp x68000 or the msx home computer from 1986 I think? Regardless it's a great game, enjoy!
