Who the hell paid that for that crappy Link to the Past ? In a nice condition, I would understand the price, but the box looks like if someone sat on it.

Well you don't know market values then   I won that copy and am planning on trading/selling it.  It's worth more than what I paid, even in less than mint condition.

No way in hell I'd give over $100 for a damaged sealed copy.

You may have a general idea of your market...but I believe the market audience for that damaged copy is far less than a mint one.

I regularly buy up Factory Sealed Zelda games and saw this too when it was listed and didn't even think twice about NOT watching it.  Usually, factory sealed collectors buy a factory sealed game because it is expected to be in mint condition...thats the case for me anyways.  Maybe you can pop that dent out...but I was more concerned with the obvious depression on the back as seen in the 'wavy' game descrition.

That said, I wish you luck on turning a dime.

*EDIT* Added picture:

I'm not worried on turning a dime on this one, but thanks for the vote of confidence anyway

Yup:

It actually wasn't even mint.  Condition isn't that much better than the one I just won.

I agree that was a great price on that Zelda. I saw a buy it now for 400 that got hit pretty quick and that was just about the time they started grading games. Not to many since then. I thought this one was going to bring much more.

More like $150. FYI - I received that Zelda today that you guys were crapping all over and it's not in bad shape at all. Yes it has a dent but other than that it's in great shape. No creases/crushing. Quite a good price I got it at

Damn, didn't waste any time did you? This will be fun to watch.

"copy is in EXCELLENT/NEAR-MINT condition...A copy in similar condition recently sold for $1500 so I am offering this at a very attractive price."

A copy in similar condition also recently sold for $231.50

That's rarebucky's copy. I sold it to him for like $300ish. I forget the exact price he paid. He can definitely profit from it. I could see a $500-700 sale.

I bet it that copy doesn't have dents in it....good luck with your auction, the world is a larger audience than NA.

Ever since Bronty sent in all of his games to be graded, and posted the results, I'm convinced that they don't hand out 95s very often. I'm sure it's next to impossible to get a grade that high.

95s are impossible, true. The highest I've ever received on a case fresh game was 90.

That was me who bought that.  95 is hard to come by. A top title to boot.

Wow, I don't know why you'd pay that much. 90 and 95 are basically the same. A top title, sure, but there are many case copies floating around now.
