I was toying with this as per something bunnyboy said, but anyway here's a description:

It's called "Tones only" where you have the game screen like normal, but the colors DO NOT illuminate when the computer is playing them to you.  Just the music tones.  When you input the sequence, they do still flash though.  I've been playing with this and think it's tricky, but not too much harder.  I'm adding it as an optional mode in the new options screen.  I also have an option to disable time limits if players want.

Thoughts?

I thought the regular version was hard I only made it to level 10, but its always good to have options.

I agree with Bunnyboy, add as much as possible..

Having multiple playing options would make it more like the newer Simon Tricksters as well..

Yep. Add as much as possible. What I would really love to see is you making like 5 or 10 of these games and putting them on 1 cart. I would LOVE something like that.

Oh man, so you'd have to memorize which directions made which tones? Ack.

Well, maybe eventually. A multicart is something that'd probably require a mapper due to all the graphics I'd need to use. Plus a 2 game cart would be kinda small. Maybe a 5 game cart someday...

I recently added 40 more levels to Geminim, and that was one of the main things I wanted to get in. I couldn't get the music track to play in-game due to sound effects taking over and stopping the track fully, so I have it playing on the instruction screen. That game should be out first and out soon and Siamond will follow. I've got it so you have 2 game modes and the ability to disable time limits and start on a faster speed.
