I am pretty sure it is just your browser. I have seen it several times. I fix posts like that all the time. All I have to do it edit the post and hit submit and he fixes it completely. The actually formatting is in there, but some browsers don't submit it or something. Maybe Dain knows how to fix it...

My browser is like that.

I have to put HTML line breaks after each line.

It sucks.

I notice that at work using IE6 I get a nice editing window (Word powered?), that allows new lines.

At home using the latest firefox the editing window is more primitive, and the new lines aren't registered. Need to add tags to get a new line.

Edit: even in the fancy editor, the tags are parsed before display.

I use Firefox and it doesnt' do it for me. In fact I edit lots of people's post so they look normal and are easier to read.

You guys (me includet) can try it with the butten beside the one with teh numbers. Everything You want to be
in one line You have to mark and than push the butten
    - not the perfect solution (also not the quiqest) but works somehow. I just figured it out yesterday ...

It happens randomly for me as well using Firefox 2.0.0.11 at work, and at home as well (though I can't recall the browser version of Firefox).

I think this is related to the Quick Reply at the bottom. I've been able to reproduce it and have (I hope) fixed it.

It does it for me as well. Mostly when I am adding my "~~NGD" to the end of each post. It has been placing it at the end of the text like I hadn't hit enter.
