This brings up a good point.  I was considering strictly North American versions, but if you find Euro/PAL versions, feel free to ask people.  Hmm, for now, I'm just going to ask that if anyone wants a specific, non-NTSC/US version, please let me know and I'll put a note by your name.

 

I will say add me to the list. I was able to get an NES Classic on release day so I should be able to do the same for the SNES Classic, but you never know. So just covering the bases. Plus I may be able to pick up an extra one here or there.

Thank you rlh for managing this! I had a somewhat similar thought about ways to work together to help each other regarding the SNES Classic, but I wasn't exactly sure how to implement. This is a great idea and a great way to encourage community support and helping each other out.

Any extra units I get (if any) will go exclusively toward this list at exact cost.

Everyone, I've added a Notes and Addendums section for post #3. Please read over these notes and check them from time to time. I'm not planning on altering the rules, but some times I may need to clarify things or add additional guidelines to cut down on confusion. I want this to work well for everyone, which is why I'm willing to get a little carried away.

EDIT: I don't need to know what you may provide.  When I update the desires of the posters above, if you get a CAD one, obviously you should be able to see who may want one.

 

I am interested in either North American version...to be honest I didn't know if there would be a Canadian version, and if there was if the Canadian version would be any different from the American version (may have French text somewhere maybe?). But yes any units I find to distribute to others will be bought here in Canada, and of course that would be communicated to potential buyers.

I'll also let you know if I discover there are any distinguishable differences between the Canadian and American versions - though I have both NES Classics (ESRB-rated and not) bought in Canada and they appear to be identical to the American NES Classics I've seen.
 

I recall the boxes were different. I dunno some (cough, cough, like me..) are sticklers on what type of variants they want. Thanks, I'll update that you're interested in US or CAD.
