doug, i thnk you have to pick a run defense every time, if you pick the pass play and blitz you never get a shot at a pick, then its all about cheating to the right defender, i usually follow the long route and come back up to tackle if they throw underneath
 

I tried using run defenses the other day I kept getting burned by deep passes. Which defender are you controlling? I normally play as a linebacker to protect myself from the running back going straight up the middle and breaking off a huge run.

if your not using lawrence taylor you need to use a safety, cover the pass and come up and play the run manually

Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong. I've been moving in first to cover the run and going for the sack if it was a pass play. The computer safeties/corners are useless covering passes unless one happens to get thrown right to them.

Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong. I've been moving in first to cover the run and going for the sack if it was a pass play. The computer safeties/corners are useless covering passes unless one happens to get thrown right to them.
 


thats why everyone is running up the score with SF , ronnie lott playing safety is an int machine, i found that the top safety on cleaveland is quick also but they lack the offensive firepower SF has

Working on getting the video up.

If you figure out who the fastest player is on D, use them regardless of position. I use Lott, and always pick the run play that takes the longest to run. I watch for the fast up the middle play, and if it's the other run, you don't need to worry about it. If it's a pass, you can usually figure out who the ball is going to before the triangle comes up based on where you are, and where the receivers are. I never go for the sack, and it's unfortunate if they go for a quarterback sneak.

I'm sure my video will explain it a little better...

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

-Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

You should get extra points for the awesomeness of you avatar. We played Dragon Spirit last season and I kept trying to get the upskirt, drooling dragon ending but it turned out that it only works on the famicom version.

yeah i have to run or i would lay out my strategy for you which i think is the best haha.... i only had time for 4 games this week. On my last attempt i had 35 points in the first quarter but only finished with 98. So i think it is definitely possible to achieve 119

So, I found out it's not good for me to play pissed off, but a 105-0 run is uploading as I type this.  Had a big hiccup in the 3rd that almost put me over the top to power down the NES and quit 'till next year, but I persisted.  You'll see in the video soon...or how about now!

This is about the max i think i can put up, it took everything i had and some bad play calling by the computer , my nerves were a wreck in the 4th quarter. this is however the best score i have ever put  up in this game so back to back weeks of personal best in the weekly contest for me.
