I was thinking that they were used to smuggle product after bitcoin transactions on Silk Road or something but seeing that the payments were sent that way too kinda explains how an NTSC Golf game made a round-trip and arrived back here with a PAL game.

I've been told not to say certain things for legal reasons so, hopefully without revealing too much, I'll describe the better look I got several minutes after the video ended. The foil bags contained a clear bag inside. My brother cut through both in the video but we got to see an entire clear bag extracted soon after that. The grains are coarse. Like, more coarse than typical sand. Almost pebble-like and there were a few pebble-sized chunks. One of those chunks was described as "cloudy" but I wouldn't say it looked clear. I'm color-blind so don't count on me to correctly describe color or hues but I definitely wouldn't describe any of it as white. Off-white, perhaps a light brownish color. I hesitate to call that a "powder" though I believe my brother called it a powder as soon as he lifted the flap.

Yes.

The grains were inconsistent. It was mostly like powder with coarse grains of varying size mixed in.

I would have taken photos, kept them, made backups, then handed over the evidence to the cops before posting about it online. Also you are braver than I would have been by piercing the baggies.

It's happened before

Well, I'm waiting on word before sharing more but in the mean time, I was making a comparison of the damaged PAL Rollergames board to an intact PAL Rollergames board pic from the BootGod NEScartDB when I noticed this:



It's not the right game. PAL-W6-0 is PAL Isolated Warrior, not PAL Rollergames (PAL-U5-0). That means the smugglers were handling at least one more title than we were previously aware of and the boards got swapped. I asked the vendor if he has a copy of Isolated Warrior but I'm still waiting on a response.

YEah there are definitely more of these out there. If they are found is anyone's guess...
