Hey, two games in the SNES Monthly Contest that I actually own and like. I think I'll give these a go.

Unless I'm missing something, it's impossible to beat The Lion King with more than 8 lives. Once you reach 8 lives, 1-ups won't appear anymore and you won't receive extra lives from the bonus game.

Ok, well in the event that multiple players beat the game with the same number of continues and lives, we'll do what the NES contest does with ties;  average the points and round to the nearest

Updated my Lion King score. Yes! Finally put the nail in the coffin on this game. If I never have to look at it again, I'm fine with that. At the end of the day, it wasn't the most difficult or most frustrating game I've ever played but the frustration-to-satisfaction ratio is definitely very skewed on this one. The graphics and animations were pretty nice, though.

Scores added to post on first page. Had a pretty good run in Lion King going and then everything fell apart in Stage 8. Used an embarrassingly stupid amount of lives/continues on just the first section before you get to the lava river. I have another score for Lion King to post that's a little further than what I posted, but I'm not sure it's worth it.

updated my score post. got way too pissed off on stage 5 of lion king to give a fuck anymore. The falling rocks and boulders are fucking dumb. I can get there no problem. Easy....


I didnt really play much f-zero. I hated stage 5 so much. I kept getting bumped and cheap shit happening at the wrong time. Finally finished it without blowing up so my one and only real attempt at a score lol.
