$130 is retail for a brand-new one. I believe there's some sort of coupon out there which you can use to get a used DS Lite for $100. Of course, if I have any in for sale, I sell them cheaper ($75-ish), but right now, I'm kinda sold out...
Btw...I do own one (for myself), and I must say it's more fun than most of the systems (home or portable) that have been released in the past 10-12 years .

I would just buy a new one instead of a used one. Some people are rough on used one and might have damaged the touch screen being stupid. The DS is a great system, it is a close 2nd behind NES for me now a days.
