Just finished Wario Land 2 tonight. Fun game but I wish it were more like the first game.

Yeah i got pretty bummed out with the other ones and the lack of updates. If there's no steady updates and visible protection then it's nothing but a release list.

Working on Donkey Kong Land 3. Up until recently I didn't realize the DKL series was different from the DKC games. I thought they were going to be just watered down versions of the DKC levels. But for a Game Boy game it was quite impressive. I hope to finish DKL3 in the next day or two.

Just finished Link's Awakening for the first time in 17 years. I know it's already marked off the list here but I figured I'd share that since no one else is posting in this thread.

Keep the flame alive. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'll certainly swing back into Game Boy action at some point.

That's great to hear! I'm just discovering most of the GB library now and since I have so little experience with the system I figured this is a great way to motivate myself to play a lot of games I never played before. And hopefully if I continue to contribute to the list and update the thread others will follow suit. :-)

Since there is no "ending" to Game and Watch Gallery, I assume just playing all the games on bot modern and classic, and on both difficulties is considered complete. If so, consider this complete.

Thanks for setting up a new thread for this. I found my original Gameboy and games this weekend so have renewed my enthusiasm.

I'm playing The Sword of Hope at the moment. Hopefully I will finish it by the end of the month and can move onto something a little shorter.

Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 is completed. I've played the game many times before I don't think I ever finished it ironically.

Good going. Even with the long hiatus with these threads, we can still easily beat last year's total.

I've reached the last area of Sword of Hope, but I'm not strong enough yet, so I will need to grind for a while before this is done. I have also picked up Othello. There are four opponents, so I assume beating each of them is sufficient for finishing the game.

Sorry about not keeping the old thread active. I've actually been really busy this year, and simply have not had time to visit NA. Things have calmed down a bit and I'm able to come here once in a while, but I simply don't have time to check and update the thread anymore. Thanks for keeping GB alive, and hopefully I'll be in a better situation next year. I really did enjoy running the thread for the brief time I was able to.

The Sword of Hope is done. I'm pleased I played the sequel first, or I may have been put off the series by this game. It's very basic, with a small world. But it relies on difficulty spikes and some obscure puzzles to artificially lengthen it.

I've started Othello, but I'm not very good at it. I'll keep trying, though. And there are a few more games in my collection I can try.

Mario's Picross - Beaten April or May of this year. I'll add a photo if I can find it, I swear I took a photo of it. Mario's Picross 2 is sooo much harder.
