seller's forum seems like the busiest part of the boards, necessitating the 24 hour no bump rule. how about renting out stickies for threads in that area? someone could pay to have their thread permanently at the top for a set amount of time so it doesn't get rolled down. it could be limited to certain number of spaces so the whole 1st page doesn't end up stickies. 

They could run a monthly auction for the sticky spot. That way it's limited to one sticky and gives everyone a chance to bid for it.

Call me crazy but I never read stickies. New threads typically get the most attention. Everyone wants to be the first to get dibs. Old threads, sticky or not, quickly get stagnant after initial interest.

Word. I associate stickies with threads that i've already read. Like manual scans, rules, FAQ's ect..
