Yeah I told him to get the numbers in there, he said he'd use his cell phone for the new pics, rather than that webcam bullshit. Hopefully he does a good job.

Sweet!, Cell phone pics! 1 step up from a webcam!

lol. Sorry man, i mean this has so far went from your first post of

"a guy i know, a local dealer"

To this guy who your phoning up, giving pointers, and going to the earths edge to help him make thousands here.

I dunno, you have to understand why some of use are skeptical.

not to mention:
1. He already lied to a member who asked a question about it
2. has low feedback
3. has a name that looks very familiar to us
4. First 5 screw to EVER surface
4. You reassure us that he "wont break anything" if he takes it apart. (why even say that, why would u care if he does) lol, hes a guy u know a local dealer right? never once mentioned as a friend

If he was a FRIEND, you would have mentioned that in the beginning.

Im sure a psychologist could put this together a little better for us all, of natural human behavior. But im just winging it here.

Anyways, sorry dude. You seem like a nice guy. But im still thinking fake as of now. Cant wait to see some blurry cell pics where we cant make out the numbers tho! (these numbers are super small BTW)

At this point, I'm giving him pointers because my reputation as an honest NAer relies on it.

BTW, Opened manual pic is up. A board pic is up, but I told him he better flip that over so we can see some text.

AHH worse way to hold a priceless manual ever.... lol

I dunno, manual looks pretty good to me (aside from the fact it looks pristine MINT all the way to the edges of the pages) . However i've never owned this manual before, so not the best judge on that.

1. Red flag on manual, from looking too NEW.

I wouldn't touch it personally.
Yeah, don't you know if they open it one of those wires might snap right off?

He wouldn't break a damn thing.

Ah.  Swapped board then.

Wonder what game you'll really get for your 2 grand?   I think last time it was Bases Loaded 3.

After you help him prove it is a new 5 screw variant, make sure he gives you a cut.

Top is NA Database

Auction

The capacitor in the middle looks different, also the Circuit Board Traces above the right chip do not appear to match. (I do not know if this matters or not)

The lettering on the Chips all look ok ?

Yeah I see those different traces, but it could also be a variant as stated, being 5-screw and all. I want him to upload better pictures of the board for his sake, I told him what you guys want to see.

The traces you see in the bottom match up with the background traces of the top. You have to look to see them in the top pic. Not sure about the cap.

I think he just has the flash on so its making it look different, because you can kind of see them in the top right, but they are faint.

When I look for them, I can see them.  The lighting could also be messing with the capacitor too.

No he got it from craigslist for $80!

First 5 screw cart found
First cart found where end label text is above cut edge
Fuzzy picts so other mistakes are hidden

Probably fake, definitely sketchy.

The capacitor shouldn't make a difference as they weren't really universal.
