Somehow I'm guessing the higher this goes, the more people that own them will have that same opinion.

lol but in five years when it sells for 5000.00 people will think this one was a deal   lol.  hard to believe not to much longer than 10 years ago a factory sealed one, im pretty sure the one bronty  now owns sold for a little more than 500 dollars. lol

Hopefully I end up winning (it will get a place of honor next to the NWC), but it's still fair game until 10:00 PM tomorrow, so I better keep my guard up!

With my luck, I have a feeling that somewhere there's a bidder waiting to outbid me by a penny at the last second.

Worldstrongman,

I've never seen pics of your collection before, VERY impressive! I thought I had a large Wii collection at right around 70-75 games. How many do you have? I hope you are just selling SE, and not the rest of the collection.

Good luck on the sale!

Yeah it was a very hard descion, even my wife and kids didnt want me to sell it, they know how long I worked on it and how much Ii enjoyed it. but I just cant remain living where i am at, It really starting to take a toll on my well being. Im sure some people have no problem living within 5 feet of their neighbors but I feel like im trapped in a box and there is no privicay anywhere.  That and looking at the prices stuff is selling for, im pretty sure i would need to hit the lottery to rebuy lol. As far as your question, im going to sell all the nes stuff, then see where i stand then snes repeat the process, then n64, I have probally 400 wii games which i plan on keeping, after i get moved , i will try for a complete wii. collection. and i hope i can help others finish their collections by letting mine go.

Doug I just read this now and how your family di9dnt want you to part with it but it has to be done. I am in the same boat with my mustang at the moment. If I sell it I would be out of debt and move on. But would feel like I would never be able to get another. On the other hand if I keep it I still be paying about $60 a month on the $1,500 loan + insurance on 2 vehicles when I take it out of storage. On top that I have to replce a few parts of I where to sell and there not cheap parts. I feel trapped

Another thing that played into my descion is my mother is getting older and cant take of her place to well and by moving  ill be within a few minutes of her place. so the next person may not sell for years. you just never know.  plus im sure this auction isnt getting the attention that it would of drawn on ebay. so outside of here probally not many people are going to know what it sold for.  plus there is not that many to begin with  lol

There's only 8 hours left. Hopefully I win, but at least if I get outbid the money is going to help out a good cause. Best of luck on the rest of the auction!

Andy, If you sold your little mustang, how would you be able to drive UncleTusk (6'6''), me (6'7'') and the tall guy (6'8'') to DreamTR's arcade next campout.  That was, to this point, the most physically painful car ride I've been on in my life.

Back on topic: current bid at $2,755.  I'm super excited to see who ends up with this.  Not many of these are changing hands nowadays.

Now let's see how long until we get another data point. Congrats on the win. It can be an overpriced record sale today, and undervalued tomorrow with the way things are moving.

It might have been a record sale, but I'd rather pay a premium for a known legit copy than roll the dice buying one off eBay, plus the extra money is going to help another collector out so I think everything worked out pretty well.

So true. I remember when the carts broke $500 and how crazy that seemed.

Exactly!  There can be no doubt that yours is the real thing, and that is certainly worth something.  Congrats man!
