Um... I did read your whole thread. I just don't agree that you treat something that hasn't been available for around 3 years as "Available".
Sure it makes sense for BattleKid, and the others that come in and out of stock frequently every few months or so. It would be a waste of time to update info on all those titles----I agree completely.
Fellow retrousb fans, like myself, we realize that NESnake and Retrovision are two strange anomalies. With Retrovision, they take an extreme amount of time to make so it makes sense that Brian never makes em. With NESnake, nobody really knows why Brian doesn't ever re-stock it.
So, I think after something has not been there to purchase for several years, you may consider a different approach.
With NESnake we have a solid price point history. I could probably dig and find 3 or 4 examples of 75 dollars.
Retrovision just doesn't trade hands, so we don't really have any solid point with a price. As someone who has bought and sold in the last year, and seen several WTB threads come along offering around 250 with no hits. I'd say either 250+ or 300+ seems to be a reasonable suggestion for a starting point. (
for the record that's less than what I bought and sold for)
I didn't come in here to cause controversy or put you down. Personally I
LOVE this list. I came in here as a fellow homebrew collector. Moderation-wise everything here is just fine.... I just want an accurate list so people can be informed.
Hypothetically if brand new member "A" comes on nintendo age and wants to be a homebrew collector. Then JD falls on hard times and wants to sell all his homebrews. I post all my stuff For Offer. Brand new member "A" will have no chance on my NESnake or Retrovision if they offer me 26 and 125 respectively. If they offer 75 and 300, they probably win. That's being "informed" and not "naive".
Might not seem like a big deal, but there has been quite a bit of interest with Retrovision lately at least.
You don't agree with my opinion fine. But if you cal me lazy, you is silly man.
Hence the long-winded reply.
