Thanks for the kind words guys. I end up getting many of the lots because I offer more than the usual person (sometimes). Also, I'm very proactive on CL (and luckily I live in a busy spot to buy stuff).

Here are two separate buys that I made on the way home from work. NES lot and the Wii/GC/miscellaneous stuff lot. All games are complete, and Pokepark 2 and SMG2 are both sealed. ^___^

No he does not.....Downriver Michigan is the Pitts for collecting. Too much competition around here to get anything good on a regular basis. Trust me I live in the same area.

This is the way some are growing their collections. You buy a huge lot at a decent price, resell the majority of it to recooperate your money back all while adding in a few new games.

Not hating on what Tc is doing just wish he would post what he was paying so that the few people reading this post don't get the wrong idea.

Don't forget guys you can find all these games on Ebay LoL.

Obviously OP is hustling hard to make these deals. Nothing wrong with it at all! (but sure, I am little jealous too)

Some great finds here, but while I know its the OP's choice whether or not to post what they paid I really do wish he would.  It can be useful info to see what certain lots have been going for.

He was impressed by the lot given the locality and asked the price.  Doesn't seem like thread crapping to me?

EDIT:  I don't want to argue over this, which would, ironically, thread-crap on this.  I just want to point out that we just interpreted Steam's post differently and I thought it was funny how you've popped up in this thread from time to time

I appreciate how popular this thread has been, but no need for anyone to bicker.

I don't post prices because I don't want people saying: "how can you ask that much for "x" game when you got the whole lot/game for "x" amount" when I get a great deal on a lot; members could also go "hey since you got this lot for this amount, can you sell "x game" for "x amount" and then I would feel obligated (in some instances) and in other, I would feel bad not giving a discount. It can also go in the reverse as if I pay a high amount for a lot and try to get a bit too much out of it, people could get angry that I could charge that much. Yet, I do sell most of what I find on eBay rather than NA for these reasons so I guess it wouldn't hurt to list prices. Just know that I get a lot of deals because I am swift on CL and with responding, and I offer very fair numbers (most of the time) for items. Despite many members viewing me as "an evil reseller", I do collect as well so if there's something/multiple items in a lot that I want for my own keeping, I will offer more (as many of you do, I'm sure).

I'll just list the prices I paid for the past three buys, and begin to list pricing with the finds:

large NES lot with the genesis games: $770
NES lot with 15 games: $80
GC/Wii lot: $175

2/7/17 pick-up on the way home from work... surprised he only had these six titles as he said he wasn't a collector and just had them since childhood. I was skeptical on the way, but opened up Earthbound, Chrono, and BoFII when I got to the meet and they are all legit. All of the labels are quite nice. I told him he had awesome taste as a kid. The games cost me $300

That is awesome that he threw the ps3 stuff in for free! It definitely helps make the bundle that much better of a deal for you.
Also, nice grab on the 3ds and wii u systems/games. Do you have either system yet? Or is this the start of collecting for both for you?

WoN display case find (with lengthy story)-
I woke up this morning, did my usual morning CL search, and saw that this case was just listed. I contacted the seller right away (as I'm always on the lookout for these bad boys), and got to dealing. Seller placed the ad for $750, and had it on eBay for $1000 (both OBO). As the excitement from me finding one for sale wore off and the high price tag feeling set in, I told the seller if he didn't get anyone that offered $750 (or close to it) to please contact me; this hurt me to do because I knew I'd probably miss out on it, but with the limited info on it I couldn't just blow that much cash on it. Anyways, he told me just to make an offer, but before I could respond back he shot out a number (that was significantly lower than his asking price) and stated he just wanted it gone. I jumped all over it, and here we are. The transport was terrifying (because of my own lack of preparation). The seller was about an hour away from me (driving the speed limit and whatnot), but on the way home I took only main roads, white-knuckle drove, checked my rear-view every 5 seconds to just stare at the shaking glass and hope for the best, went way under the speed limits with my hazards on, and avoided just about every pothole, bump, etc. (to the Michiganders out there: you know how the roads suck here). What I really wish I brought with me was pillows and/or blankets just to put in the case on the way home to support the glass. I didn't want to stand the case straight up on the way home because I only had some shit bungees with me, and I didn't want to have the glass face down, so I tilted the case (as shown in the pictures). It ended up getting to my spot with no damage or broken glass. I dried it off (it was raining quite hard on the way home), wiped off some dust bunnies, spider webs, and other grime from the bottom, and transported it to my basement and set it up next to my other WoN case. I didn't realize until I got them next to each other, but what this one lacks in height it makes up for in width; It's a foot and a half or so (I haven't measured exactly yet) wider than my other case. As stated in my PC thread, I believe it is complete except for the peg board on the back and the shelves (if it even originally had them in there). Overall I'd say it's in very good condition with some rust spots and minor blemishes, but that's hard to avoid. It still has the "customer service assistance" sign/stickers on there, as well as a smaller sticker with a Nintendo Power promo (which is pretty fucking sweet). Another very cool bonus is that the original price stickers for some Game Boy products are still in there; I took a photo of two out of the four price stickers (one for a Super Game Boy for SNES, and one for the original GB Basic Set. The stickers are kind of faded and meh looking, but you best believe I'm leaving them in there. The light is original and has the original cord which is a bonus; a couple of my other signs/displays have newly-spliced cords on them.

I don't know if I'm going to get some peg board and shelves for inside of it. I figure I could put some of my larger statues in there, or my Nintendo Powers as it has that awesome promo on there. Anyways, here are some photos!

4/13-14/17- Buys from the past two days (technically within 24 hours, so past day):

1) NES Classic from last night. Saw it on CL for $120 around 11pm. It was over an hour away, and I worked at 630am this morning. I asked the guy if he wanted to meet asap (as I figured it would be gone by the time I got off the job today), and he said he would meet right then, so I went and made a nice night time drive; ended up being very sleepy at work.
2) NES Classic + Nyko controller extension from today. Paid $150
3) Wii U lot from today... paid $250

Here are some of my finds from the last week.
First photo is a small N64 lot I got for $70 sometime mid-week
Second is a lot I got for a whooping $15 (the guy had an ad that stated he was cleaning house, and I had to read the fine print a bit to catch "box of n64 games for $5". I offered to give him $15 if he held it for me until I got off work (and drove over an hour to meet him). I was very surprised he didn't sell the lot before I got there, but was pleasantly surprised when he still had everything, plus he added in "other item that were laying around" all the n64 controllers, and the various of games that aren't n64 related. I got this on Thursday (4/27/17)
Third lot was an awesome Wii U score I had today (4/30/17) for $250.
