Had this one yanked out from under me today.  I was refunded about 15 to 20 minutes after purchase.

Man, that's some BS there. I'd be pissed.

Goes with the territory.   You get used to it after a while.

Yup, I'd say a very, very likely chance that was a prototype. Like a 99% chance.

Backdooring is super weak, very sorry you missed out on this.

I'd report the seller to ebay.

Either that or guilt trip the seller into doing the right & honorable thing.

I'll just let someone hide it in their collection and leave appropriate feedback for the seller.    It'll show up again sooner or later, and then we'll know.

Seriously, before you leave negative feedback, email the seller and let them know what you're about to do.
Sometimes, when negative feedback is involved, sellers all of a sudden do the right thing.
Doesn't happen very often, but it's possible. It's happened to me before.

Damn, that sucks man. Whenever I lose a great deal like that I question why I'm even in this hobby anymore. Seems like there's more people out to get you than people who are willing to congratulate fellow collectors on their finds.

Yeah definitely drop the negative bomb threat so people know not to trust the buyer with any gaming stuff of any value again and perhaps as it was said, offer not to if they reveal who the person was who stole it breaking ebay's rules.

Hell I'd probably be angry enough if someone did that, I'd just turn around and call ebay anyway and rat out both the seller and the backdoor jerk so they're both banned for violating ebay policy. You won it and paid for it, you deserve it.

I agree, let eBay sort out this ignoramus. I doubt he'll ever try anything like this again after he's banned from the site.

I have a Blazeon proto, but I can not recall any Atlus proto with a case for SNES....they all have a very distinct look on the EPROMS with specific typed text that you can tell Atlus did it anyway (besides their company name being on there)

I'd neg this asshole ASAP. Also, I like this game so I would be pretty pissed if he pulled this on me.
