They're a little ambiguous about how they describe it, but they MUST mean than the actual wall-wart plug (and the end of the extension cord) fell into the tub, right?
Because the phone-end of that plug is only carrying 5V DC at maybe 1A, max.
(which I'd be surprised could do the kind of damage they are referring to -- I mean, it might be able to stop your heart if you're really unlucky, but probably not cause burns, etc)
