Unless I'm missing something, looks real to me.

If you have a problem once you received the item, you can file a dispute and return it.

You're not missing something. They have magnifying glasses with lights, you can look to see the printing pattern. Then open it up to check the pcb, snes central is a great resource to cross reference but it's usually pretty easy to spot a fake. Wires and such sticking out of the board. I agree with the second comment, take a look first in person before jumping the gun.

Looks ok, but you can always ask for board pics. I'm sure seller would understand, even after an auction, for an item of such cost.

Yea I was over thinking everything. Why didn't he show the back of it. Or the PCB. Thanks for the comments though. I didn't end up winning it 🥺

I agree that the no board pics on a game that expensive is a red flag. Plus some sellers really hide fine print about repros in the description so you can't return it.

On the flip side some people find them in their garage and have no idea about games and just look them up on eBay. They wouldn't know to include board pics or don't have the bit to open it up.

What is the track record on eBay siding with buyers who find out they have purchased a bootleg rather than an authentic item?

I would think stating an item is not authentic in the fine print should NOT serve as meaningful seller protection when they are selling something illegally.

eBay pretty much always sides with buyers. I've seen if the description had that it is a repro, then you got exactly what you paid for. Like the others have said it looks legit so no worries.

I've never seen a repro that didn't say new in the description. Buy the repro for 40$. You'll never even beat the first stage anyway. That games hard af
