HERE

It's a flash game about KFC chicken cruelty. Pretty well done for what it is.

**Disclaimer**- I'm in no way saying that I support the PETA organization, I just think it's a very well done flash game.

To Whom it May Concern,

I was recently browsing online and came across a flash game on a PETA website that blatantly infringes upon Nintendo's trademarks. Nowhere on the page did it say that these trademarks, including Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Dr. Mario, were used with permission, so I felt it was important to notify Nintendo about it.

The game can be found at: http://www.kentuckyfriedcruelty.com/superchicksisters/

Thank you for your time. Your loyal fan,

Agreed. Wanting to abstain from consuming or "exploiting" animals because of your own personal choices and beliefs is one thing. It's America, and everyone's free to make their own choices on the matter. But throwing money or time at PETA under the assumption that it's going to help advance some national crusade towards "total animal liberation" is a much darker thing. Fact is, animals are PROPERTY, some are even traded as commodities. And no amount of "action" will ever change that.

For those who have contributed, volunteered or are thinking of doing either, check out Penn & Teller's B.S. episode on it, on a fileshare near you. It's pretty enlightening. And they make a lot of jokes, it's an entertainment show of course - but their point is, anytime you buy into a big organization you're buying into every aspect of it, both the good AND all the misappropriations and hypocricies.

Then do a little Wiki'ing on "cultism" and "groupthink."

I lived in PETA central USA for a year. They were so ridiculous with some of the shit they did. One time a Circus came to town and they harassed all the little kids going into the show. I mean, cummon, they're kids!

I always figured if the were so in love with animals why dont they use there time and money to build fences along the higways. since hundreds of millions of animals get killed on the road yearly

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Doesn't your gov't already do that? Around here every major highway between cities is fenced, and the road into the mountains is especially well protected with 8 foot fences all the way along and "animal overpasses" and "animal underpasses" as well so they can still cross the highway at their leisure (although, somehow I don't think they've quite figured out how to sit down with the animals and explain this to them).

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

Most of ours do have fences but so many of them have been destroyed or just aged so much that they aren't effective. Plus so many animals are great climbers, jumpers, or diggers that the fences are useless to start with.

I read somewhere once, that a bunch of PETA activists had thrown buckets of blood on some kids because they were eating burgers or something.

I don't know about them confronting young people, I think they realize that their disinformation campaigns and appeals to emotion are, at least with kids, more effective than terrorism. Kids feel invincible to threats and often steel themselves against authority, any activist doing this sort of thing would probably find it backfiring.

But one of their favorite tactics (mostly by the ALF acting relative to PETA) is to ruin fur coats worn by adults by throwing blood on them.
