Wow.. this game is incredible. The story and non-linear gameplay combined with good AI, great graphics, and a beautiful soundtrack has me loving every second. Though, this is exactly what I have come to expect from Bethesda. Anyone else currently playing it?

My wife just started, she is hooked. I am not so excited because of the first person realtime view. When I played the first Fallout I would get the super sledge and smash everything. With Fallout 3 the melee weapons really don't work because the enemies can run away so easy.

I've really been anticipating this one, but will have to wait until later in the year to pick it up.

I'm glad to hear that it turned out well. Bunny, I was always a fan of the sawed off .22 rifle...in the eyes!

I just reached the last main questline mission today. I've been playing this a ton since it came out.

So does the game still have the classic charm of the original games? And how well does the new "VATS" system work?

The VATS system is a pretty cool feature, provides the player with important details and insight into the foes that they encounter. I usually shoot first and ask questions later, but the VATS system definitely made me fine tune my approach.

Well, one of my favorite parts of the original game was doing ridiculous precision shooting...or punching people in the groin with a power fist.

Especially once you're wearing power armor and have had a few body mods to max out your strength...total destruction. I loved being able to punch people and watch them explode.
