Pretty obvious reproduction boxes and manuals - the boxes have white flaps as they're made on stock card, and the manuals have a fake "solid" ESRB rating (K/A didn't exist as a rating when ESRB went from the sketch logo to the solid one). With as high as prices have gotten for these games, these need to be removed before someone bids on them and gets screwed.

EDIT: He listed a fake MM7 too

yeah there's no way not to know, the ESRBs don't even match between manual and box, and you can spot a fake box a mile away with that white card vs the gray of a genuine box

If someone would like to let the seller know about this thread and ask for an explanation as tzo where he obtained these, I'd really love to hear about it.

Not good...

That guy once harassed me into completing a deal for several games I had up for sale. It was clear he was looking to get somewhat fair prices just to try and resell them for more thereafter.

He's not a member here, but I know he has an account registered at Sealed Game Heaven.

Ah, okay. He wasn't registered back in February when we had a deal pending. You gotta thank me for bringing him over here!

It doesn't look good to me either guys, but please refrain from the name calling. Lets at least give him a chance to respond before getting vicious.

Ignorance or not, no excuse. Someone had to match the cart to the box. I'm glad we have people hunting these out.

He bought the boxes from 1upgames_co_uk himself...

Maybe someone should have a word to him.
Haha how stupid. He didn't even bother using two different names to buy/sell. Did he actually think he was going to get away with this?

Guys - I already updated all 3 of them - I had an email from someone on ebay telling me about the ads, I updated them. I was in the middle of posting a lot of new stuff on ebay, I have some real gems coming up, (those 3 Mega Man's were the only reproduction boxes, manuals I had for my games) no need to get hostile, no one offered no one bought, it was within minutes of putting it up. Chill.

this "i was in the middle of posting so much stuff and messed up" excuse is way overused. So you post and dont know what you are doing? Dude you had already posted them and said Complete in box, and you know they are reproductions. No excuses. The one you gave was BS anyway. No one posts a high dollar item in a hurry and forgets to mention. Oh yeah these boxes and manuals are fake. Telling us to chill after you post some unethical crap? I dont care what else you have, no excuse for this kind of crap.

So you apologize for getting caught? Your original description said something along the lines of "these will be sent in clear box protectors to protect the value". This is not a case of an accidental omission.

I'm just glad that these are fairly easy to spot. Awesome for the community to call bullshit like this out.

def. shady and makes me glad that I only selectively purchase boxes. Every thread I see on NA of people asking for reproduction boxes on licensed games scares me for this exact reason.

Strangely, he lowered each item price... probably another unintentional error due to having too much goodies to list on eBay.

been trying to report 1 upgames forever and ebay doesnt do anything. Amazing how they dont see this as copyright infringement. Why dont they do anything about it? hundreds of people have reported it.

amazing he bought them himself. wow. no sympathy. AND he left feedback today which means these are recent too. ugh

There has been so much of this reproduction nonsense going on and they have all been using the same excuses. Its either for personal collection or plain ignoranxe but either way im not buying any of it. Even if you are telling the truth it is no excuse.

The more we start taking people for their word the quicker we will be taken advantage of.

Hahaha. Chill out guys, I was just trying just trying to scam people.

You have some balls posting that on this forum. You do realize that everyone here is in the hobby of collecting vintage video games and selling fakes/reproduction is the single best way to piss everyone off. I was expecting a better excuse. Maybe even an apology? What little reputation you had is ruined. You're definitely going on my blocked list.

Edit for spelling
