Seems strange to give the eZine editor job to a guy who signed up a couple weeks ago. Any mod/admin staffers want to chime in on this to confirm? How about Dain himself?

I was a little surprised myself, but I'm willing to do it.   If you would like, do you want me to screen shot the message?

I know, I thought I had the green light, but I guess people are a little suspicious.

I'm up for writing bud.

I don't see what the problem is either. The guy wants an ezine, I say let him have a crack at it

Not really, but always a good time to start.  I think more importantly, I'm committed and this is one of the few things I feel really motivated to do.  So *sigh* I guess that's my resume.

Well, to be fair, a guy who signed up 4 years ago (me ) still hasn't been able to put together one issue, so how worse can someone who's new to the site do?

Anywho, good luck with the eZine!

Well you are a brand new user and something doesn't add up

Plus the entire mod/admin team has no idea about it.

Gotta start somewhere mang! Besides, you get to choose between a pint of blood or a pound of flesh should you fail.

Oh, well I asked around and people said contact dra600n (can't remember who said that) and he said contact Dain. Dain said
"Hey Alex,

Thanks for the message. I'd love to have the ezine revived, and if you're up for the task, I say go for it.

Previous editors pretty much managed the whole thing other than the sending of it (once it was ready). Everything from layout style, editorial style, etc, was all up to the editor."

So I'm sorry if this caused trouble, I just really want to do it and I thought I could.

Jesus also gave up his blood and flesh, so I mean that's cool.

It's not trouble Alex and I am not trying to discourage you in the least. I want the e-zine back too and wasis willing to come back and run it. The problem with it is simple lack of layout artist that kills it every time. It is hard to get that portion of it done on a continual basis and from my understanding it takes an incredible amount of time to put together an issue

Oh yeah, I might be able to do a small article here or there. Let me know!

PS I have ZERO journalism experience, but I do know a LOT about video games. So yeah.

I'm willing to put the time in and although I'm not the most artistically gifted, I think I could throw some stuff together until an artist (or artists) is found.

I plan to, the focus is the articles not the layout.
