Back before I got my PS3 I was really into DVD collecting and spend most of my money on movies. My father introduced me to an online shop that sells a ton of used DVD's for very very cheap (we're talking 1-2&euro
. Shortly after I got my PS3 in early 2010 I found out they also sell used games for very very cheap and I started buying most of my PS3 games from them and I still do because of the awesome prices.About two years ago they started selling retro games as well. Their inventory isn't really huge or anything but they always have some good stuff in stock. Here's the twist though that makes it so amazing. With cartridge games they don't tell you whether or not the game comes with the box, the manual, both or just loose. They only have a stock picture of the cover for every game. Now you might say that's a bad thing but the prices are so much lower than on eBay or other sides that they are very good deals even for the loose cartridge. I bought quite a few games there already and I'd say the chances of getting a cartridge game with the box are about 1/4. With N64 it's a bit higher and with NES and SNES it's a bit lower. Since I started buying stuff there about two years ago I got six boxed NES games, seven boxed N64 games and ten boxed SNES games from them for less than what loose copies usually go for. Usually the boxes are also in really nice shape but I think that's just a weird coincidence. I got my mint CIB Legend of Zelda for the NES for 20€ from them and people in Europe know how expensive that game CIB is in the PAL regions. Other highlighty include Jet Force Gemini CIB for 4€, Kung Fu CIB for 3€, Duck Tales CB for 4€, Out for Lunch CIB for 4€, Super R-Type CIB for 6€ and so many more.
I decided to make a post in honor of that online store today because the most recent package I got from them includes pretty much everything you might get. Money spend on all the following stuff: approx. 75€.
I got lucky today and three of the four N64 games I ordered came with the boxes. Shadowgate 64 and NBA Live 99 are CIB while WCW Mayhem is missing the manual. Sometimes newer games even come sealed. They don't tell you that either and just charge the normal price. It doesn't happen often but I already got about seven sealed games from them so far. In this package I got two factory sealed games. Everquest Online Adventures for the PS2 (99 cents) and Shadowrun for the 360 (1,99&euro
. As you can se a lot of filler PS3 titles for my set. The sports games are usually around the 2€ mark. Some cheap XBox and 360 titles to get those collections going. All exclusives for those systems because I mainly get stuff for the Sony systems. A total of 26 games so I paid an average of 3€ each for these games. Beats every other online used game store over here by miles.
I'm actually thinking about cleaning them out of all their PS2 sports games. They have like 60 different ones for like 60-80 cents each
