The one time I post a Nintendo haul nobody seems to be interested
Well anyways I returned to the flea market I got those Atari 2600 games from to get the ones I left behind. Ended up with these four which were pretty much all the ones that were worth picking up.
California Games and Winter Games were 2€ a piece and Vanguard and Midnight Magic were 5€ a piece. Got a deal for 12€
All the games I left behind were either crappy titles or hacks from Taiwan lol.

Just took a look at that SNES haul, excellent find! Ardy Lightfoot CIB is certainly nothing to sneeze at. I notice you also got Kid Klown in Crazy Chase. No one really pays attention to that one, but I've always loved it.

Yeah quite a few titles in that lot that are just uncommon and nobody really talks about

Picked up a new console from the eBay for 30€. It's a Philips Videopac G7000. Now if you look at the picture you might say that it looks like an Odyssey 2. Probably because it basically is just that. They changed the name for the german market and some other countries. Don't know why they did but who cares. I jumped on this deal because it included Popeye which is one of the rare titles for the system and is worth around 30€ alone. The other games are more common ones. Game 20 actually had game 23 in it. I'll probably work on a complete G7000 collection now seeing that there are only about 60 games for it and most of them are fairly common.
Sadly the games here are not in the greatest shape. The casing is very cheap plastic kinda like the PAL Playstation 1 games and these games are 15-20 years older so getting them in good condition can be tough.

PS: I like collecting for the systems nobody else collects for

Collecting stuff that not many other people into is really awesome imo. Sets the collection apart and makes it a bit more special. Also it's more affordable

Isn't Super Cobra a pretty hard to find title? Thought that one went for more than Popeye?

They both can be pretty tricky to find but Popeye is definitely the harder to find of the two. There are two other games released by Parker Brothers and those are pretty uncommon as well.

We have a very weird store here that sells stuff on eBay (80k feedback). By weird I mean the pricing for their more odd stuff they're one of the most expensive when it comes to Sega and Nintendo stuff. At one point in time they had Teleroboxer for the Virtual Boy loose, CIB and sealed and the prices were this: Loose 32€, CIB 26€, Sealed 21€. I don't know why but that's how they priced it and for some reason they only have the loose copy left in stock .
Anyways a couple days ago they listed two sealed Turbografx16 games for very cheap and I jumped on.
4,99€ for TV Sports Basketball sealed and 6,99€ for Magical Dinosaur Tour sealed. The TG16 wasn't really released properly in Europe so you don't see games for it on eBay everytime. The MDT especially was a very good deal
The Keith Courage in Alpha Zones was an auction I won for around 8€ after shipping. We only get around 10 auctions a month on TG16 games and usually they go for quite a bit. I'll most likely get a TG by the end of the year so I'm starting to pick up games for it already

Hit the flea markets again today. Two weeks ago I posted in the Loosers Weepers how I missed out on Secret of Mana and Terranigma in the big boxes because I didn't have the money on me. Well today I came back to the seller not expecting to see them again but they were still there . Grabbed them both and the seller got me a deal for 30€ each which is awesome. The Secret of Mana alone sells consistently for 55-60€ and the Terranigma hovers at the 50€ and goes a bit lower sometimes. The inserts were missing but I can live with that. Cartridges are mint condition. The guide for SoM is a bit ripped on the side but the Terranigma looks pretty awesome. Unfortunately one of the flaps on one side of the SoM box has a fairly ugly rip. Other than that the box looks pretty good. The box for Terranigma looks pretty damn good. Finding big boxes in that good condition is very sweet .
Also the manuals for Mario Paint and the Mouse were in the SoM box

On a different flea market I stopped by one of the resellers booths first and he had a Mega Man IV for the Game Boy which I was interested in but he knew his prices pretty well and wanted 25€ for it. The labels was pretty faded at the top so I looked at some other stuff and spotted a NTSC Biker Mice From Mars and he wanted 12€ for that which was very awesome since that game is pretty hard to find over here. He offered 30€ for both the BMfM and MMIV. I asked him to throw in Extreme G-2 for free but we agreed on 31€ for the three games. Very happy with that deal
Afterwards I found a guy selling some PS2 and PSP games and he said they were 2€ a piece which never happens to me so I grabbed the four PS2 games I thought were worth it and two PSP games and paid 10€ for the six. At first I was really excited but I was a dumbass and forgot to check the cases and when I got home I realized that both the PSP games were missing . I was pretty bummed out especially because of the FF7 Crisis Core. At least all the PS2 games were complete and in really nice shape. That Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Collector's Edition is actually pretty darn rare and PAL only . Also Dragon Quest is a game that was on my wishlist for a while.
After that I only found a black label Morrowind for the XBox for 3€. Complete and in really nice shape. Found it at some girls booth in a box with tons of crappy sports games. I thought the game would be worth a bit more but I didn't know that only the GOTY edition was expensive. Still a nice game to start out an original XBox collection

So I picked up a loose US copy of Biker Mice From Mars from the flea market un Sunday because I was looking for that game for quite a while. I've never seen a complete copy pop up on eBay ever since I found out about that game like four months ago and there also weren't any good auctions. After I got home from the flea market I checked eBay and of course somebody posted a boxed PAL copy of that game for a BIN of 39€. I was really debating whether or not I should get it but ended up buying it because I knew that I'd probably have to wait another year or so until another boxed copy pops up. This box is very rare in the PAL regions. There is one other box I managed to find on the australian eBay for a BIN of over 100€ (complete copy). That copy has the manual and is in better shape than mine but I'm happy I jumped on the deal because it's a cool game to show off .

I also went through a list of what I thought could be the closest to a list of all PS3 games released in Europe. None of these lists are ever complete but I managed to find about three or four titles I never heard of before (that never really happens anymore). One of them was Hot Wheels World's Best Driver. I checked amazon for that game only to find out it's completely exclusive to amazon. I know this game was also released in North America but I don't know if it's an exclusive there as well. This game was released roughly a month ago and at the moment there isn't a single german copy on eBay which is ridiculous. I somehow managed to snag the second to last copy on there a couple days ago for about 14€ even though the game retails for over 30€. I know this game is fairly expensive in North America as well but a lot more common. This game could turn out to be a real rarity in PAL regions though

PM send

After about a month or so I finally found another local deal through the classified ads. Nothing too big but something I'm happy with. I just refuse paying like 25€ for a game like Mario Kart 64 because I know how common it actually is and usually I'm very patient and can wait for games to come to me. That's why I don't have some of the essential N64 titles yet like Ocarina of Time or Banjo Tooie.
Yesterday the waiting paid out and I got this little bundle for 35€. The system is in really nice shape and the joystick is used but still very good. Mario Golf is complete with everything and Mario Kart 64 is missing the manual. The boxes are in nice shape which is something I often see with N64 boxes supposed to SNES boxes. I guess the fact that the PAL manuals for N64 games are a lot bigger than the SNES manuals and the N64 games include precaution booklets prevent the boxes from crushing too hard.
Happy with the 35€ because I'll get 20€ back for the system for sure and 7,50€ each for these games is sweeeeet .

Got even more today
So I have my local classifieds set to a maximum distance of 50km. A couple days ago somebody who lived exactly 50km away put up an ad for some N64 stuff. He wanted 25€ for everything and when I looked at the picture I was surprised nobody had snagged it up already. Then I realized he lived in a town where only like 20 people live. Way outside the city. So I asked him if he would ship everything for 25€ and surprisingly he agreed.
The package arrived today and everything was in pretty nice condition. The games were all perfect and the system was also pretty good. The joysticks on both controllers are both used but still perfectly playable.
The only thing that was a bit upsetting was that the system didn't come with an AV chord but I knew that beforehand. Just makes it a bit harder selling the system.
I'll only keep the Mario Party 2 and one of the Mario Party's will be an upgrade for me. Already had MRC and SM64. This is the reason why I don't spend money on these games online because I know I'll eventually find them in a lot somewhere for vitually nothing

Oh yeah . My sister and her boyfriend are planning on getting a N64 somewhat soon so I asked them if I should hold on to SM64 and Mario Party 1 for them and they said yes so I'll keep them for another two or three months probably. I'll put my old copy of Mario Party 1 on eBay tomorrow and I'll probably get around 20€ just for that lol. I'll try to get an AV chord somewhere to have a complete system to sell. That'll be another 20-25€

Do you find it hard to sell on ebay when you first start as you can only sell to your country and not internationally. AS in from netherlands it seems difficult

Germany has a fairly large market for video games so shipping stuff internationally isn't something I need to do. One of the reasons is that I don't do PayPal which most international buyers do. Also I'm a lazy bastard that doesn't want to deal with international shipping and stuff. The games and systems I sell always sell well within Germany. One of the advances of living in a country that's going crazy for video games: You always find somebody that pays if you list your stuff right.

Back before I got my PS3 I was really into DVD collecting and spend most of my money on movies. My father introduced me to an online shop that sells a ton of used DVD's for very very cheap (we're talking 1-2&euro. Shortly after I got my PS3 in early 2010 I found out they also sell used games for very very cheap and I started buying most of my PS3 games from them and I still do because of the awesome prices.About two years ago they started selling retro games as well. Their inventory isn't really huge or anything but they always have some good stuff in stock. Here's the twist though that makes it so amazing. With cartridge games they don't tell you whether or not the game comes with the box, the manual, both or just loose. They only have a stock picture of the cover for every game. Now you might say that's a bad thing but the prices are so much lower than on eBay or other sides that they are very good deals even for the loose cartridge. I bought quite a few games there already and I'd say the chances of getting a cartridge game with the box are about 1/4. With N64 it's a bit higher and with NES and SNES it's a bit lower. Since I started buying stuff there about two years ago I got six boxed NES games, seven boxed N64 games and ten boxed SNES games from them for less than what loose copies usually go for. Usually the boxes are also in really nice shape but I think that's just a weird coincidence. I got my mint CIB Legend of Zelda for the NES for 20€ from them and people in Europe know how expensive that game CIB is in the PAL regions. Other highlighty include Jet Force Gemini CIB for 4€, Kung Fu CIB for 3€, Duck Tales CB for 4€, Out for Lunch CIB for 4€, Super R-Type CIB for 6€ and so many more.
I decided to make a post in honor of that online store today because the most recent package I got from them includes pretty much everything you might get. Money spend on all the following stuff: approx. 75€.

I got lucky today and three of the four N64 games I ordered came with the boxes. Shadowgate 64 and NBA Live 99 are CIB while WCW Mayhem is missing the manual. Sometimes newer games even come sealed. They don't tell you that either and just charge the normal price. It doesn't happen often but I already got about seven sealed games from them so far. In this package I got two factory sealed games. Everquest Online Adventures for the PS2 (99 cents) and Shadowrun for the 360 (1,99&euro. As you can se a lot of filler PS3 titles for my set. The sports games are usually around the 2€ mark. Some cheap XBox and 360 titles to get those collections going. All exclusives for those systems because I mainly get stuff for the Sony systems. A total of 26 games so I paid an average of 3€ each for these games. Beats every other online used game store over here by miles.
I'm actually thinking about cleaning them out of all their PS2 sports games. They have like 60 different ones for like 60-80 cents each

So today I went out to the flea markets and couldn't find anything except for some pokemon games for 12€ a piece that were soaked in water and dirt. Disgusting. I was quite frustrated and the weather sucked as well so I just went to Pizza Hut and ate some slices to get rid of the frustration and headed back to home. Once I arrived I checked the local slassifieds and so a XBox lot that got posted for 100€ and it included 42 games. I looked at the pictures and spotted a couple of amazing games and almost no sports games. I contacted the seller and offered 80€ for the lot and to my surprise he replied and accepted the 80€ offer. If he wouldn't have accepted I probably wouldn't have bought it because he lived over an hour away and spending that much money this early in the month is something I don't like to do but it was definitely worth it. The guy was pretty nice and actually threw in some games he said didn't work and some doubles for free. One of the games (Burnout 2) was literally destroyed. Paint all over the disc and cracks in the disc. Won't even bother trying this one.
I couldn't fit everything in one picture so I had to make two. Here is the first one with the not so good titles. The REALLY common games are stacked up because there wasn't enough room...

So we have some decent titles here and only three or so games are missing the manual. Some of these games are somewhat uncommon but not rare at all. Burnout 3 is an amazing game and there are some other good ones as well but I already have a few of them for the PS2.
Now for the big hitters...

Getting so many great titles in one lot is just insane. Of course ou can see Conker: Live & Reloaded and Knights of the Old Republic 2 are obviously the ones that stand out and were the games that caught my attention right from the beginning. Then you have two copies of Halo 1 one of which is a Not For Resale version which was probably a pack in. Definitely going to keep that. Also Halo 2 + Multiplayer Pack to round up the Halo area. Then some other fairly uncommon or cool exclusives. Obviously you can never have enough extra copies of Morrowind lol. That copy of Total Overdose is actually a fairly rare german version which is quite difficult to find. Same goes for Area 51 which was indexed in Germany so you usually don't find it here. The bundle gets rounded up by several awesome exclusive titles and another uncommon Star Wars game. Then there is a promo disc and I actually found three different unused 2-month XBox Live gold membership codes in some of the games. I don't know if they're still good or not considering they're almost ten years old but one can try.

I mean seriously now what are the chances of finding all these games in a lot? Not sure yet if I keep all the games but especially the common ones are not really worth reselling.
